Until blizzard does something about premades, which they won’t, just ghost them to deny HKs.
For some reason it is mostly horde players that make this complaint about premades I wonder if this has anything to do with horde having to queue all 3 in the hopes of getting into a game. Most horde premades are at most 10 so they can solo queue av and 10 man queue for both wsg and ab. They don’t like the fact that alliance can 15 man premade ab and not worry about a queue. So they come on the forums here and make these complaints.
Gee, it’s almost like people get tired of consistently being at an insurmountably massive disadvantage.
Imagine having the game so insurmountably stacked in your favor that when the alliance does one thing thats a slight inconvenience its the end of the world.
Nothing is stopping you from rising above it, besides yourself.
That is objectively inaccurate. And, incidentally, I am an Alliance player. I simply recognize that the queue situation has made it significantly easier for the Alliance to field larger premades more frequently than our Horde counterparts.
As for my assertion as to your statement’s inaccuracy? Well, kindly explain how the Horde can somehow fix queues to where they can reliably field their premades, otherwise I shall continue to strongly disagree with your assessment.
I really don’t think it’s the horde 10 man weaving premades that are complaining on here. This is how I did it and I support premades. Did we get beaten by 15 man premades in AB with our 66% premade? Yes, sometimes. Sometimes we won too.
It’s more those who are not in premades at all complaining and yes mostly horde because of the queue time.
Just fair warning, I’ve had someone claim they got suspended for this. Specifically ‘teleport to graveyard’ suicide before the match began into ghosting.
You also hurt yourself more than you hurt them by ghosting but whatever.
No you don’t, typically when a team ends up ghosting it’s because they are going to lose with no meaningful HK’s or objectives captured anyways. It’s far more beneficial to get the game over with quickly and move on.
Correct.
A cowardly way to play. Anyone who PvPs for PvP’s sake would never do this. Have fun killing or have fun dying.
It’s behavior that really isn’t any different from afk’ing in AV
It’s a garbage way to PvP no matter what. If you know you’re going to lose then do everything you can to make it a hard earned victory for them. If you delay their victory by 10 seconds it’s worth it.
The roll over and die mentality is just pathetic.
When I see a premade they don’t even kill me once…
I just lifetap/hellfire before the doors even open
ghosting them asap won’t stop them
the only thing that’ll stop them is deserting immediately upon discovering that the other team is a premade, which will only work if everyone does it
then alot of premades might stop premading and start WPvPing because they won’t have a high winrate vs. other premades
My experience is that nobody pvp for pvp sake anymore anyway. This game is full of pvers who only care about chasing that next parse.
Hm I wonder what it could be that’s making queue times be what they are for horde… I wonder if this is a player made problem… I wonder if… ok fine! Horde pushed alliance away from av. Wsg queue times used to be worse than they are now when alliance wasn’t even queueing into it. Alliance don’t trust other alliance to not come in to ab/wsg in full greens like they do in av.(some even in full greys since they got their account boosted) more horde are in the queue with the meta that horde have going (queueing all three to reduce downtime) there just aren’t enough alliance that don’t raid log to come out and join your bg. And if they do, they queue just one bg at a time. This means that they are spread out between them. Horde typically are not and therefore queue times are where they are.
No it’s not, playing against a premade while pugging is a garbage way to play and should be minimized as much as possible. And you especially should not reward premades by giving them HK’s.
If you really want to hurt premades continuing to spawn and feed them HK’s is not the way to do it, stop spawning and deny them the HK’s.
There is a counter argument, which is give them their cap quicker. By this I mean honor cap
It won’t stop them at all, I agree. Neither will deserting.
Although if enough people do it, they might hit their honor target earlier in the week, and they’ll stop queueing to maintain brackets.

Yeah we lost soooooo much time doing this compared to ghosting.
Time elapsed: 8 minutes.
Oh wait…
