The mount has characters sitting on the pommel instead of in the middle of the saddle since the update. While riding the mount, the camera is very off center and puts the mount and rider at the very bottom of the screen.

Almost all the new skyriding mounts have some issue or another with bad camera placement centered way too far above the riders head. I’ve noticed discs, ticks, and the all the bugs / old god bugs that got the new running, walking animation seem to be the best ones as far as cam placement goes. they got some work ahead of them!
Also on the ghastly charger the rider is now frozen in place so it looks like the old riding bug from way back where it looks like you are on a rocking horse

It looks like even the old proto-drakes have messed up camera placement. I guess I’ll just stick to one of the new mounts until everything is fixed.
