GF quit playing

GF told me she is bored with wow and I don’t blame her at all. I’m really looking for more games we can play together. We play Overwatch from time to time but that game is really toxic and i personally don’t want anything to do with it. Anybody have any suggestions on any pc games me and her can play together?

Any help is appreciated :ok_hand:t6:

FF14.

No contest. Having two people to do quests together makes things SO much easier. You still have to do some duties solo but typically if you fail at them, you get an echo which is the equivalent of an LFR determination buff.

Honestly i have been looking for a reason to give it a try i’ll definitely toss the idea at her. Thanks :grinning:

Me and the bf play wow together, but until recently we also played FFXIV that is a good game and fun to do together

I bought a nintendo switch and my wife and me love it. Mario Kart is co-op online at the sametime.

/clap Slurpdk, I’m glad you are playing and enjoying gaming experiences with your partner. Beautiful. I do recommend spending a day or two with 8.1, that’s all that’s needed realistically. Blizzard didn’t give much content outside of the few War Campaign and Heritage Armor quests. Could unsubscribe and wait for either the next raid in January or 8.2 / 8.3.

Unless you like leveling. The XP nerf is huge and makes the leveling experience much faster thus more enjoyable. /moo

Edit LF girlfriend who’s into WOW. PST! /wave
Last Edit I recently picked Path of Exile back up and have been enjoying that when I feel burned out on WOW. It’s been fairly entertaining.

I still have a couple months of tokens for my gametime i have been selling M+ runs and have been lucrative. my GF genuinly dislikes pretty much every feature of this expansion except the alliance storyline and the art directory lol.

I don’t see myself unsubbing unless the next raid tier is an absolute disaster. we played P.o.E didn’t really suck us in.

I wholeheartedly agree with your GF - the art and story teams are carrying Blizzard hard! I enjoy these aspects of BFA, but the systems are the same from Legion, therefore they lead to boredom. I think a lot of people can agree.

I’m in the same camp as you - I’ve been subbed to this game on and off since 2006. I don’t see myself dropping BFA unless something dark and traumatic happens.

POE is one of those games where you have to really be into the concept of the game, not even necessarily the story or mechanics. You have to be into devoting your time and effort into an ARPG grindfest. And because the Diablo team isn’t coming out with a PC game for a while, I decided to redownload Path to my PC.

My wife and I play The Forest on Steam. Best game I have ever tried and it is $19.99. I have nearly 300 played hours on it since the release in April. Good game, the only one I really play regularly.

Been playing ffxiv, it’s fun but not into end game content so can’t comment on that.

Getting back into ESO, it’s a really good game. Just don’t buy it on Steam, has major issues after every patch.

I’ve been playing MMO’s with my GF (and now wife) for years. We have been paying WOW off and on for about a decade, so i understand sometimes you need a break. MMO’s are great because they are cooperative, Here are some alternative games to try.

STWOR: This game has 4 unique stories for each faction from 1-50, then 2 unique stories from 50-60, and the outlander story 60+. Its all voice acted. You can play 8 different classes per faction, and you can assist and watch each others story quests if you want to double up on them. They have even increased the exp so you don’t have to play the side content, and dungeons are scaled so you can do them as a pair. We found that the leveling experience was 90% of this game, and there is at least 6 months of content to play through. Sub fee pays for the whole game.

Guild wars 2: Once you buy it you go it. The story content is enjoyable but linear. There is lots of content to play through. The endgame is lateral progression, so you aren’t always behind on the gear tredmill. You can pick it up, and put it down as often as you want and you are never behind. Its a good game to play when you need a break.

Best of luck

My husband stopped playing WoW too. He is now playing Fallout 76, which is not in a good state at all, but he rather play that than this, which speaks volumes.

Let me know if you find something you both like. I am looking too. The good news is Classic is coming soon!

Thanks i honestly forgot we bought GW 2 and the expansions lol might have to revisit it.

Divinity Original Sin 2 is a nice came to CO-OP. I have a lot of fun!

I know is completely different from WoW but maybe give Stardew Valley a shot? There’s a coop mode now that I tried out with a friend and it was pretty good.

I was going to talk about this one! It seens like a silly game, but it’s so much fun. The enemies can be really hard to manage as you progress in the game, the achievements are interesting to do, and the game gets new stuff now and then. It’s great game experience, for the gameplay, story and the multplayer. Loved playing it with my BF 10/10

I’ve been in the same boat this xpac my friend. I at least enjoyed PvP a little last expansion which is what me and my GF usually do but I just cant get over not having vendors to target gear through PvP anymore.

I realize it was like that last expansion but legion felt more rewarding, the gameplay felt better, classes felt better, and I think that is what kind of helped counter act this. Right now I’m playing Darksiders III but I’m hoping to find a game that her and I can enjoy together again.

I’ve been looking into Portal 2.

Our options are PC, Xbox One, PS4, and Switch.
