Only got 1 done so far an untimed 20. Will definitely fill my vaults this week and try to improve my io and hopefully some more 20’s now.
How about you guys gonna fill your m plus vaults before the 10.7 patch?

Eight +20s? Or just eight M+/ eight +2s?
Now with uncapped Valor, it’s an important distinction.
Because until you’re farming 20s, you should everything you can to just bang out eight +2s to insure you get 3 options in your Vault. It may take a little more work to run up a 2/13 item, but you can still do it.
And so having options … is better than NOT having options.
Make sure you run at least eight +2s.

Yeah I’ve got all the gear I can cap to 15 including a pack trinket I used valor from getting on a 2. Collecting portals are nice and 421 gear

Nah, just leveling/gearing alts and queuing for LFG when it’s giving a rune bag. I got KSM. That’s sufficient for me.
Future patches will have ilvl catchups, so I don’t want to grind for a few ilvls this stage in the season.

This advice assumes something useful from a +2 that you would spend lots of valor to fully upgrade to 13/13.
For my gear level and sitting on <250 valor (I always spend valor after opening the vault), this isn’t advice I would follow. I’d rather run eight +16s for three vault slots and concentrated primal focus. Only after that’s done would I drop to +2s for additional valor.

I got a “F you and your desired to be carried” last night while running a +13 and I hate being group leader and my friend told me “don’t select the first people you see” lol so I’ll be sticking with 2’s til I’m 8/8.

No. It understands that the Vault is RNG. You don’t know WHAT you’re going to get. +2 or +20s
The advice, therefore, follows a rather obvious premise: SOMETHING … is better than NOTHING.
So while you follow up with “I’d rather run eight +16s” … well, duh.
You’re entirely missing the point of my advice.
Running +16s is “real” content for MOST people. It takes time, you have to apply to groups, deal with tons of rejections, etc. For MOST people, getting eight 16s is prohibitive.
But eight +2s??? Anyone can bang that out in just a couple hours. It takes zero prep. Practically zero skill. You almost don’t even need any gear! You just need to show up, lol, because you’ll almost certainly get carried by one or more i410+s.
And doing that, you would then have three options from your Vault.
This is the way.

That sounds like a deeply weird group. My Evoker is basically the same IO as you, my Priest is just a little bit higher, and both of them are pugging +13s. I’ve not seen that sort of hostility in my groups.
Some people might prefer two 421 options over three 382 options.

I’m making a case for 80-90% of people on how they should be prioritizing running M+ for Vault choices.
You are making a case for 5% or fewer of people… who already know wtf they’re doing in M+.
And you know… You’re not wrong. I never said you were wrong.
You’re just being daft and UTTERLY missing the point. Like, you’re trying to champion Mythic Raiders on how best to use Raidbots.

You said “until you’re farming 20s, run 2s”. 16s are way easier than 20s. My point is that your qualifier (farming 20s) is too restrictive, which makes your advice not universal. It’s not bad advice for those that struggle to get into key-levels that at least have the potential for upgrades straight out of the vault (no valor spent).
For those not yet running 20s, but able to get into groups at their current gear/key level, running 2s is terrible advice.

This thread wasn’t even about that. OP does a post every week asking if people are doing their 8 M+ dungeons. It’s just a weekly thread about how people are doing in M+. Check OP’s post history.
You come in and start ranting about how it’s good to run +2s for bonus valor. And picking a fight with everyone in here.
That’s… not what this is about. And +2s for the Vault are not the same thing as running higher keys for better Vault gear.
I think you ought to find another thread instead of derailing this one.

Not picking a fight with anyone. My post is CLEARLY supportive and helpful for those that don’t fill their vault. That “don’t get their 8 done.”
My post is for those that might not have considered “hey you know… I don’t HAVE to run the highest content to get a Vault choice.” Because that, very often, takes more time than a person has.
Just farm some +2s. At least get a CHOICE in your Vault.
The only problem here is you trying to talk down to me about OBVIOUS things like “if you can run 17s … you should.”

You’re clearly not here to have to have a constructive conversation, much less a casual chat about running dungeons, so I’m just going to stop engaging and move on with my day.
I’m pretty busy on Tuesday/Wednesday with work so I didn’t get much done yesterday and probably won’t get much done today.
But I’d like to get my 8 done on my Druid again this week and run a few more on my Priest and Evoker.

Nope. Got normal raid vaults capped on a few toons and one heroic choice on a character. Still no 8s.
Edit: That was last week actually. One character with a normal vault clear so far this week.
