I was under the impression that the pre launch event would last until launch…3pm pst. I leveled my toon from 53 to almost 59 solely with the event. I thought I had an hour left and 1 level to go so it was doable, then poof, prelaunch event was gone at 2pm. Ok I can’t buy the upgrade armor from the Storm Vendor, I can’t go to the Dragon Isles, and I would have to go through all of Shadowlands, most of which is gray to me, to get any place that would give me exp to 60. Any non snarky ideas?
You should be able to queue up for shadowlands dungeons. I ran my lvl 50+ alts through the event and queuing for SL dungeons at the same time. Every dungeon was a guaranteed level on completion as xp gain from 50-60 has been greatly increased.
One SL dungeon and you should be 60 without issue. Then its off to Dragon Isle. Even without the event gear, questing mobs are easy to kill. So I think you will be just fine. ![]()
Best of luck and enjoy your continuing adventures!
Thanks. I loath pick up dungeons but might be the only way.
It’s definitely the quickest I know.
Can you jump into chromie time in BFA or something? I was under the impression you could go to 60 that way.
If Chromie Time is like it was in SL, it cuts off 2 levels before the new range, ex: level 58 (was 48 in SL.)
You can keep doing Chromie Time if you picked it up before 58, but can’t opt in in that two level window (I think.)
Really hoping they changed that. OP, you can talk to Chromie and see if she’ll let you pick something up. Hoping for the best.
Random battlegrounds gives useable XP. Only a level or two won’t take too long.
Does SL not have scaling mob levels?
That seems odd.
Or is it just the entry scenario in the maw which doesn’t scale?
As others have mentioned though, perhaps queued content like dungeons or bgs are an option.
worth a try
