Getting To 500 Mounts

Just some tips for those like me, who are close to 500 mounts, but don’t know where to get more mounts. If you’ve been ignoring Outland, the Mag’har quartermaster sells 8 different talbuk mounts at exalted. It’s an easy grind at 60. You just murder ogres at the Laughing Skull ruins and turn in a few hundred obsidian war beads in town.

Netherwing at exalted gets you 6 more mounts and Sha’tari Skyguard at exalted gets you 5 more. Netherwing requires fast flying to start the quests. It’s a fast grind because you’ll be getting 2500+ rep per day once you’ve unlocked all the dailies, and there are quite a few one-time quests that award rep. The skyguard dailies start outside of Skettis and there are a couple in Ogr’ilah in Blade’s Edge.

Always a fun excursion.

Plus you can farm the eggs pretty easily anymore. Side note, Netherspite in old Kara can also drop them.

Thx. Those will probably be enough combined with the outland mounts to get me to 500.

Edit: I logged into my MoP mage that has all the reps at exalted and bought a bunch of mounts that I didn’t have the gold to buy back in MoP.

I swear they lowered the drop and spawn rate of Netherwing eggs recently. I’ve only seen one egg spawn a day. It used to be way more frequent.
