Getting spam disconnected/connected to Blizzard services... help?

I am getting spammed by

-You have been disconnected from Blizzard services.
-You are now connected to Blizzard services.

Right now it’s happening about once every 5-10 seconds. All my addons are up to date and I’ve turned all addons off and tried clean… deleted any WAs with bugs… I have no idea whats causing this.

This has been happening to me for WEEKS now. I’ve seen multiple threads here and on the bug report forum, but Blizzard has yet to address it anywhere. I’ve checked forums, BlizardCS Twitter, and Reddit.

I put in a GM ticket after doing all the troubleshooting methods suggested:

  1. Reset your network devices to make sure your router hasn’t become flooded with data.
  2. If you’re using a wireless connection, optimize your internet connection to rule out a connection issue.
  3. Update your drivers and operating system to resolve any compatibility issues.
  4. Release and renew your IP and flush your DNS to resolve any network conflicts.
  5. Close all other applications to resolve software conflicts and free up resources.

I’ve also moved characters around on the login screen, cleared my cache folder, WTF folder, reinstalled the game client. Oh, and I don’t use addons.

What I’ve found is this:
bug occurs only on populated realms (from my experience and servers others have mentioned)
bug occurs only during peak times EG noon pst - midnight pst

Its 10:19 PM server on Illidan-US right now, and the bug is happening to me. I can switch to an alt on a dead server in under 10 seconds, and the bug stops. Switching back to Illidan the bug picks back up.

I’ve logged onto Illidan the last 2 days at 7 AM server time and the bug doesn’t occur.

I forgot to mention, the GM gaslit me and said this is on me. So Blizzard doesn’t seem to care. :smiley:

I can’t play with friends, and I can’t play with a guild. This game has become solo, with my friends getting spammed every 30 seconds that I am logging in and out. At this point, I am ready to call my bank and do a chargeback o Blizzard for TWW expansion. Blizzard doesn’t give a flying F about their customers.

It appears to be a common server issue that seems, in my opinion anyway, to be lessoning somewhat. Support is only making suggestions on self diagnosing. Make sure if it’s still happening to put in a bug report directly to QA. But I have to believe it will stabilize as hotfixes and restarts go into place.

Bump

opened a 2nd ticket, and the useless GM doesn’t understand the difference from account disconnect & Blizzard services disconnection.
