Getting rid of LFR would help normal participation

Yeah that is the general divide.

  1. Those that dont have the time
  2. Those that dont have the patience

MINECRAFT GOOD FORKNIFE BAD

/must be a complete thought

LFR is there for the people that don’t have time to raid so they can still see the story and complete quests. I like it for that reason. I would be okay with removing gear from LFR though.

All I gotta say is if you aren’t playing Lucina in the new Super Smash Bros you’re not worth my time :kissing_heart: LFR needs more mindcontrol stuff like in the last season’s squid themed raid

High marks for the introspection, it’s refreshing. But consider: If there are people for whom LFR is challenging (and Normal too hard) doesn’t that satisfy your condition?

Despite the incessant hyperbole of the forums, LFRs do wipe.

I already did. Took me like an hour to find the quote. You can spare 5 minutes and scroll up.

The whining on how hard crucible was and how badly it needed a nerf were amusing. I’m all for more mind control in lfr

LOL what a bunch of baddies. Challenges I suppose just aren’t as popular these days I guess…

Yup.

I mean, Mists had a running joke about “how many people will die to the floor” on one boss. And every time, people died to the floor. Except once. We even joked about it. And nobody died to the floor. On the first pass anyway.

Elegon if you remember the fight.

So yeah, wipes do happen in LFR. You can’t just AFK / autoattack. Because there are attacks that if you don’t stay on your feet, they’ll kill you deader than disco.

but you can in LFR… there are hardly any mechanics…

Elegon had mechanics that will kill you flat if you’re just AFKing.
Trial of Valor had mechanics that would kill you flat if you’re just AFKing.

Two that I know of personally that will kill people who aren’t paying any attention whatsoever.

Elegon would despawn the floor and if you weren’t paying attention and knew when it’d despawn, you would instantly die.

Guarm had a breath attack you had to be careful about, if you got stacks of multiple breaths it would kill you fast. Again, if you failed to pay attention, you’d die fast.

That’s just TWO examples of how there are indeed some killer mechanics.

Guess you dont understand that no one would ever admit to being ugly.

The purpose of videogames is to make a profit for the creators by providing entertainment. Not everyone finds a hardcore challenge among hardnosed hardcore players to be remotely entertaining.

Imagining that your rewards are earned while everybody else’s are “participation trophies” is narcissistic.

I mean, every Normal raid I’ve done has been a pug from the custom group queue, so I’m not sure how that follows. It’s not about skipping the social aspect, it’s about literally not having the time and energy to deal with a guild and all it entails.

I did lfr opulence last tier and did half the gauntlet phase standing in the previous room in the fire so I had something to heal. I did lfr grong by getting my friend to join me on the fire for the same reason.

I wouldn’t say the attacks were exactly dangerous

He’s trying to say that everyone should be forced into doing raiding as progression with a guild.

Doesn’t fit your schedule? Tough, reorder your life priorities. Raiding is all that matters.

Which is self defeating and really just a waste of their energy and time crying about it.
I dont like pet battles. I think theyre stupid and a waste of time
But my sister in law loves them.
WHO AM I to tell her how she should enjoy the game?
No one…thats who…the same as these LFR hero/realraiderwannabe’s telling all of us how we should be playing.

you have to wonder what else in their lives is permeated by this incessant drive to belittle, demean and control others.

Nobody here was called a name, but I did mention the lazy, unskilled players that would defend LFR.

It would have absolutely no weight to it, as you’ve never run normal.

I found your meager attempt at a rebuttal to be amusing, so congrats on that.

Next.

I love it when people come in and tell everyone else that someone’s not having fun the right way. So there are four different difficulty levels of raiding, big deal.
