Wtf is up with this system??? I spend 25 min in an Epic BG, don’t say a single word all game, do top damage, and get randomly removed from the BG and get the deserter debuff???

We had jerks from Tich doing that to guildies last night. Then they sent us hate tells after we won. I guess they intended to lose.

Random BGs are full of clowns these days, its all terrible players with braincells made up of a pile of crap who don’t know how to win ANY BG, and then complain when they get told how to play right. Alliance sucks I need to go back to Horde, the difference in IQ is night and day

I like the alliance and usually have smoother bg’s with them but honestly I immediately assume you’re a terrible person if you play a gnome.
All I ever see them doing is kill a severely undergeared player in world pvp repeatedly until they retaliate with friends and spawncamp him until he logs out.
I figured out what was causing me to get kicked, customer support helped me fix it. But yeah I still need to go Horde. Experience doesn’t lie and PvP with Horde is just amazing compared to with Alliance.

The built in anti AFK timer is terrible and will kick you for just being in a graveyard waiting to respawn. But yes, group reporting by people who have no clue how to play the game and just kick because they don’t like to win. Hence why I’m moving back to Horde

Was just talking about this in FB, started asking and apparently this is happening to number of top healers in Wintergrasp specifically. I’m not sure if it’s possible to be a troll group (how many afk reports does it take to kick?) or if it’s a bug of some sort.
(So hopped on here to see if more folks having the issue. It’s possible folks just really hate their top healers. )
This literally just happened to me as a top healer there. Absolutely aggravating! Came straight here to see what was up…

A hunter player who leads Ashran groups said that they were getting mass reported by the enemy team and kicked out of the BG. IDK if anyone tested this to confirm if it was actually possible though. Would be really dumb if we could kick players from the other team via reports.
I have also been removed from an epic BG less than 20 seconds after entering once. I just assumed it was a bug with the auto-afk detection thing since I hadn’t moved my character at all since my previous BG ended. Who knows

You’d think these threads would get automatically locked after a certain amount of time.
I guess the topic of getting unfairly kicked by angry players remains relevant three years later though.

unfortunately, reporting does nothing but add another number to that player’s account. it’s an automated system that, as a concept, most organizations are deploying to save labor (aka fire people making 80k to do that job, if you don’t believe, look it up, automation is taking jobs as I type). there was a DK I randomly saw in Orgrimmar walk by named (****racistslurhere). Yes, it was a real name. I have screenshots of it. as a 19 year vet, I could not believe what I saw. it just tells me Blizzard doesn’t really care about this stuff because there’s no check & balance with creating names anyways. I reported him for inappropriate name. I check back a few days later and he was then 66!
He made it all the way from 57 to 70 before he disappeared from the WoW API which is probably just him going to more populated areas. who knows if he was banned or name changed or whatever. it was clear to me they don’t have enough manpower to handle the millions of complaints with a real person so you’ll face a system instead. even if you DO get a person, they are either super, super nice & help out or give you a vague response & resolve the ticket.
edit: oh…this was from 2 years ago. well, it’s still going on, buddy!
