Here I am flying my tank warlock to scarlet monastary to hit level 40, not gonna burden an incursion group without having my mount at least. Leveling is getting REALLY boring bliz, questing in particular. I h8 questing after getting my paladin to 50, now I’m getting other characters to 50 and I just cant stand doing anything but the occasional dungeon or incursion with rest xp. You’re gonna make it worse now too without incursion spams, thanks.

It’s 150% exp from 1-50 and then it will be 50% from 50-60.
What are you even talking about? 1-25 can be done in less then 2 hours just regular questing. 25-40 can be done in 4 hours. then 40-50 can be done in 3 hours just regular questing if you know the route for leveling. (Or hell, just spam dungeons.) It gets even easier if you quickly do the sleeping bag quest. It gives like 7-9 candy corn that’s 2 levels of rest.
Hell you have gold? Its even faster, people are still selling boosts. Or hell if you AOE you can do it yourself.
Thank god incursions are going to be dailies, they did massive damage to the life of SoD.
Those numbers are bigger than you think especially with the quality of players as well as the time it takes to find groups. My warlock just hit level 40 and I’ve only been playing it with rest xp and I have almost 48 hours /played time now.
I mean, you don’t need groups when you can just quest. Just do quests in a zone until they turn green then move to the next one.
Hell, if its an alt and you aren’t rushing get it to 25 and just join BFD runs every few days for a free level and then you hit 40 hit up gnomer for the free level.
Or if your AOE you can just grind large packs of hyper spawns. Warlocks can even solo instances. Staysafe a wow streamer did it all on stream, there are also videos on how to do it as well.
Original vanilla leveling to max level is like 100-200 hour journey. And for some casual players 300-400 hours.
Are you… high? 1-25 takes a good 20 hours. In no world are you leveling from 1-25 in less than 2 hours. 40-50 can absolutely not be done in 3 hours from regular questing lmao you can’t be a real person. You won’t even get from 40-50 doing NKL incursions in 3 hours and it’s the fastest way to level in the game. Either post a video of you doing this, or stop yappin.
I’ve leveled 5 alts to 50 and 1-25 is the longest. 25-50 is a breeze and can be done all in incursions.
You can get the Ashenvale mount at 25 and start Ash incs at 37. Just don’t try and do full loops because you’ll die a lot and end up holding the group back. Stop at Satyrs for 4/6 and you’ll still get really good xp. Then when you get your faster mount at 40 you can do full runs.
All you’re doing is yappin and not backing anything up. Incursions are currently the fastest way to level. Again, we’ll wait for your video that you’re not going to put out.
when sod launched (with 0% exp buff) the “world first” 25 was after about 9 hours, with gear like heirlooms, gold, bags, consumes and a huge exp buff, 1-25 can’t be close to 20 hours
Ahmpy might be an outlier, the guy can hit level 30/40 in under 4 hours if he wanted to. But Graysfordays use to host weekend leveling/instance events. The rules were simple.
No Auctionhouse/No Mail/No grouping with higher levels. No trading. (besides vendors.)
Everyone started at Level 1, and they had either between 2-4 hours to level. And then they had cut off points. Like “You can’t level higher then 20 For SFK or DM.” Because people would hit 20 in like 2 hours and then the faster levelers would spend the next 2 getting runes or getting bis for that level while doing their best not to over level.

You want proof go check him out on twitch. Seriously, you need to educate yourself before you start spouting off nonsense. I just leveled a druid. You know how long it took me to go from 1-25? It took me 3 hours and all I did was the home zone, Darkshore, Wetlands.
Seriously, 20 hours? almost 1 hour a level? When you could grind mobs without questing for nearly a bar or half a bar per kill?
