I’ve done three mythic dungeons, and the only thing that drops is recipes for the wrong spec. I am not a Balance Druid, I am a Feral Druid. C’mon Blue.

It is odd that loot spec doesn’t narrow down the drops but you won’t get much sympathy with only three runs 
Fortunately for me, I got Apex to drop (I’m balance) so when I build my off spec feral I’ll be all set and my BiS balance legendary drops next week in Skoldus hall. So I’m set

Yea I’ve noticed that your loot spec does not matter when looting conduits and legendarios. Which I mean yea it’s nice that I won’t have to worry about making sure my loot spec is correct every boss, but you always seem to get the stuff you don’t need lol.
As far as I’ve seen, there’s not usually 2 legendaries or conduits from the same boss, so at least it’s the issue of “the drop rate rng is bad” instead of “this isn’t the spec I wanted to loot for”
I am running bear main, feral off spec.
I have recieved most boomy and resto conduits and leggos.
I have 1 bear leggo, and 2 feral.
About 2 conduits that work well for each.
And loads of stuff for the specs I didnt plan on using unless I absolutely had to.
You do realize that each lego drops from a specific location… Loot spec has nothing to do with it.
Choose the lego you want. Go farm it. Easy day.

For what it’s worth, we have less than 2 weeks of solid play at this point.
If it takes a month for your BIS recipe to drop, that’s not really unexpected.
I think that most of them are grindable - IE you can just keep running dungeon X for the drop on normal.
God help you if your BIS is a random drop from a World Boss though.

In Blizzard’s defense, they simply forgot feral druids existed about 3 expansions ago. I’d go boomie
