“Uldman group looking for 3 dps”
“Hey, 44 rogue here”
“Sorry looking for mage/lock/fury warrior”
And that’s if I even get a reply. Most of the time the dont bother to respond and will just continue on spamming Looking for DPS.
Not sure what the answer is… Rogues can only do DPS and if no one wants em for that DPS then this is the result. I know rogues are great single target and there is a place for them during raid encounters, but for the leveling experience… they just blow

Run with your guild, or start your own groups. My server has plenty of spam for groups that are just doing a normal full clear and people cleaving down a dungeon over and over.
You still have bladefury, but every class didnt have spammable aoe till wrath.
If it really bothers you reroll, or stick it our to 60 and get your raid gear.
Rouge is one of if not the best solo pvper. Also one of least desired pve. Is what it is, good recommendation, make friends and run stuff with them. How do you do that when you cant get in party you ask? Good question, one thing you can try is doing dungeons a tier below where you are… you will likely get in since youre over lvled, then if healer/tank are competent, ask them to add you to friends list & add them… do this for a little while and have a good chance of getting invited, cause youre the guy that helped earlier, so might as well return the favor.

People are so mindlessly tunneled into having mage aoe that they actively pass up lock aoe when they already have 1-2 mages.

That is ridiculous as a good Rouge can keep up even on cleave situations. I think it’s more likely someone didn’t want competition on their gear and didn’t want to admit it.

Yea, I think you’re right. Just going to have to get use to organizing my own groups
It could be that they already had a rogue and don’t want 2.

I don’t want rouge in my groups also.
How about you try being an actual useful class. Rogues are no wanted. As a warrior why would I take you. Since I want that leather.
Good luck rouge’s it’s spelled rogue.

Could be another leather wearer in group that doesn’t want to compete for loot.
Don’t take it personal and feel rejected when you don’t get into a group.
It doesn’t help that most rogues are stupidly greedy on taking locked chests, which is the only thing they even bring to the group.

Dear effing Lord are you daft. Rogues bring decent DPS to the group, as well as lockpicking, crowd control, and some oh s$!% cooldowns that could save your healer. I swear the average IQ of this forum is single digit.

When every group nowadays is composed of mages and warlocks aoeing everything down they really don’t. And most rogues will just take locked chests rather than have everyone roll for them, invalidating the only thing they actually do better than other classes. Even if I wanted a non caster I’d rather bring a fury war.

So you double-down on your daftness. Not unexpected. It is possible to complete a dungeon without it being a complete AoE fest and yet still an enjoyable experience. I swear some of you people have the most self-destructive mindsets. Rogues are fine.

Of course it is, nobody is saying rogues aren’t viable. There’s just no reason to really take one over another class. If I was really desperate for a DPS I would take a rogue, but it so happens that DPS aren’t exactly in short supply.

Everyone knew going in how imbalanced the classes were in vanilla. The #nochange crowd insured that the imbalance would be in Classic.
Besides, rogues are for ganking. When guilds start raiding, rogues with high dps will be in demand. You don’t aoe raid bosses to death.

Rogues are DPS. If you need more DPS for a group and a Rogue says they’d like to go, then there’s your reason to take a Rogue. Here’s a tip: it really doesn’t matter. Stuff dies either way.

But there’s plenty of DPS who would like to go, as I said they’re not in short supply. Why take a rogue when I could take a mage and kill stuff quicker? It dies either way but I’d rather finish the dungeon in 30 minutes as opposed to 40.

Your the type of person I’d gank happily for hours.
