Getting out of combat in arenas

Who here also thinks that being blinded by a rogue should NOT take you out of combat?

But but then how would rogue be playable?!?!

play non-immunity healer class
trinket rogues blind because fire mage busts on your partner while rogue is spamming cheap shot
rogue insta step->kidneys you and proceeds to 100-0 you in a duel

Heh, nothing personnel, kid…

thats my point

Which is what, exactly? Blind doesn’t take you out of combat, but it puts you in a position to fall out of combat, just like a lot of other crowd control abilities.

that is exactly my point. if you are blinded then you shouldnt fall out of combat. its a stupid mechanic that needs to be fixed. you have something done to you and while it is still active on you you shouldnt fall out of combat to be able to be sapped before blind is over

i love being put in a 22 second cc with 1 button where if i trinket i auto lose!!!

it’s like you just started pvping and overly opinionated

I kinda have the opposite problem. I can never leave combat unless I actually de-target the enemy. I can be inactive, not being hit, etc. but will stay in combat for excessively long periods on time unless I clear my current target (press escape so I have nobody targeted). Anyone else have this issue? Is it intended/normal?

Well OP, you’re entirely correct. Rogues are given an entire gambit of whacky things that sort of defies a person’s interpretation of what you may expect would be considered engaging, and fun gameplay. However, there’s a trade off for this sort of nonsense. While Rogues are arguably the greatest PVP class ever invented; people who aren’t Rogues know what doing pushups without our wrists hurting, and showering regularly feel like.

The world is all about balance, we’ve just got to learn to accept it.
