So i only played rogue wod+ and i really dig the old 2k gear skins from prior expansions . I wish there was a way to get this gear some how.
Same with MoP and Wod dungeons gear for doing the challenge modes.
Thoughts on how to make this work.

I doubt they would do any of that. Blizzard would come up with some excuse about how 2k players and timed runners, would no longer be unique or whatever…mean while they homogenize every other piece of gear including making reskins of old dungeon gear/T0 armor and apparently thats ok… ;/

Some of the old stuff is available through the Darkmoon Fair.
“Cheap” and “ASAP” most certainly don’t apply to the DMF.

Part of the reward is that there is a limited time to gather these items. You had to be there. These items are the real time sinks in the game.

Gonna be a hard no from me these people earned those rewards just like mop challenge mode and legion mage tower, they’re a reward that had a limited time to obtain them and should stay that way.

To make the leggos from classic took months maybe even a year to get them? And still to this day you can get them? Does that take away from any of the raiders that farmed MC?

I got the WoD dungeon items when they were current, but I would not care at all if they were made available again. Time-limited sets are the dumbest thing ever. Didn’t play back then? Guess you miss out on a good transmog!

I think including mage tower with elite gear is a bit of a stretch, a tier and a half of heroic / mythic raiding meant that we could basically “lolfacetank” our way through mage tower fights towards the end of the expansion. And some classes cough druid cough was just broken.
I am definitely guilty of face tanking the MTs on my 3 alts. My main was a bit harder but once I could buy the right Legos for alts and snag a alt run in a raid. It was easy.
But for the PVP/Timed stuff I agree. But I am also an old EQ raider, so I feel like raids should be the same way. Especially for Heroic / Mythic simply just slightly changing the color / adding more spikes to armor isn’t enough.
I especially hate how armor now a days really lacks class fantasy. I care about how it looks to my class now what the design theme of expansion is.
I would be happy if they gave them up with idk +15 achievement or something.
Honestly I would like them to stop messing with old content, I want them to un do everything they did to vanilla content so we can go back and enjoy farming some classic armor and old quests I see no reason to change any of that, sure change the terrain for the cataclysm but that doesn’t mean quests oughta change. Especially when you realize the content still wasn’t used.

You aren’t getting old elite gear or CM stuff. This has been debated over and over on these forums, but it’s not going to change.

That would open a can of worms. After making old elite PvP sets available, it’ll be Challenge mode armor and weapons next.
I don’t see why not. No one really has a valid reason not to readd.

Because they were meant to be available during that time-frame. Seeing as the current PvP elite set is only available during this season means they aren’t going to bring back previous elite sets. I’m guessing Warfront elite sets will only be available this expac.

This would not even be an issue if they would just get some new artists. Or actually start caring, I don’t feel like they do. I’ve been pretty salty about how armor looks after WOTLK, after that its like no ones trying.
I mean we do contribute to their wages after all!
Granted it’s not easy to come up with original art all the time, but it doesn’t have to be OG all the time, just not reskins.
Like S13 rogue pvp gear…just need them to try.
Rant aside, I did like some of the Legion armor. Except the Combatant stuff…
I feel like that person who designed that stuff up and left. It was good.
