Getting no loot = burnout

Well, it has the potential to be, yes. But it could also have 3 items of the same slot. It would be way better if it had to be 3 items of different slots. And even better still if it detected what you had, as I put above. Neither of those things are true, so in reality it can still be just as bad as the bfa weekly chest was.

You should have played Classic where we went months…

Honest to Bob, I just don’t get it. If they gave it all, you’d be here whining you had nothing to do. It’s a little lower yes, but not game ending.

Very true. I wish they’d just shift to loot currency as bad luck protection, or to make better use of loot you don’t need.

Or possibly give us the ability to lock out an item from a loot table once we’ve already received it.

Why do yall need so much gear this early? It’s only been a month lol

I will say tokens are a good idea

use it for an offspec

It’s different though in Classic. You can clear entire raid tiers in dungeon blues and some crafted pieces no problem. In SL raids good luck clearing H or M raids with M0 or H dungeon gear. It’s a completely different progression.

These casuals commenting on whether people “need” gear or not. Sad. What a playerbase this is. Unreal.

It’s not. Honest to Bob, you run dungeons/raids you get chances at loot that simple. Raids weren’t on farm day one like you seem to think in Classic.

You had gear rolls, ML, you could go literal months waiting for a piece.

Yet here you are, complaining and comparing the basic dungeon premise. You do them you get a chance that is it.

It is a different difficulty not progression.

So you are calling me a casual? Rofl, I get it, you are hearing what you want, so let’s go right? Come on, it’s not raining from the sky this time, but is still more than reasonable. But do carry on, you are delightful!

If some people want to gear at a snail’s pace, that’s awesome. Enjoy yourself and pass whatever loot you get to others.

I want to push my timers in M+ and I can’t do that with the current loot system. I have unsubbed and will return when they cave and change it.

The new system didn’t cost lower drop rate, the removal of TF did.

I promise you’re not playing perfectly. Increasing your skill will increase your DPS more than gear will.

The stingy reward system is buring out guildies.

A few have already unsubbed, I give the die-hards 4-5 months longer before they burn out trying to gear up.

Speaking of which… Kind of super off topic.

How is Enchanting this expansion? I’ve been thinking of switching up my professions, and was thinking of ditching Mining and Engineering for Enchanting and something else. (Herbing maybe?)

And just like C3PO, He has made Star Wars what it is today, just like the people giving feedback.

Imagine if the world was just full of yes men, god I don’t even wanna picture what WoW would be…

The players help define and make the game progress forward. By the looks of it, loot scarcity is a horrible design, check EU forums, Reddit, Twitter, MMO Champ…literally all dislike this new system…it be a different story if these posts were just as rare as loot drops :joy:

lol, sounds like most people dont get anything in those 10 runs, but 1 piece is good. Sounds like 2pawk

between conquestgear/m+/raid/vault i find my ilvl steadily growing.

it’s not that bad. i’d kind of feel spoiled if i had more loot than i already have.

it does feel horrible when youre on a streak of badluck tho - i dont know how to fix that.

Preach’s video changed my mind on this.

While I’d never want to go back to the BFA model, nerfing drops in raids and some of the mythic+ nerfs were probably over the top, all things considered.

So either they hand you a piece of loot for every boss then you quit playing because you got everything.

Or they do it like it is now (and the way it use to be when WoW was great) and make loot and gearing slower and you quit because you are “burned out”

Some people stay to keep trying… others leave out of “boredom”…

Here’s the thing… play less. Log in an hour or two a day or a few hours each week… do what you enjoy doing, hope for a good drop… then go play something else.

If you MUST play hours every day… find something else.

m+ should just be for the weekly thing anyways.

You mean Jar Jar?

You spend one hour in a dungeon with a garbage tank only to get no loot and get back to me ok I expect loot like meaningful loot not one piece of garbage gear every 5 hours that is completely useless
