Getting no loot = burnout

So… nearly a month… to buy 1 slot. 14 slots… A year to buy a set of badge gear that got out-scaled by the second raid tier. Yeah…

I agree. But we literally have players complaining that M+ gearing invalidated raiding because players could get competitive gear without relying on raid rng.

People who said this didnt remember when You had to go like 3 to 6 months without An upgrade cause You farmed mc but werent ready for bwl 2nd boss

It was a system to be supplementary, not a system to outgear the content. I wouldn’t support a system that made other avenues of progression obsolete.

I for one feel such a great sense of pride and accomplishment from my vault reward: stygia. After running several dungeons that gave me the ultimate reward: 35 anima.

Doing 10 Mythic + Dungeons to get one piece of loot is NOT a delightful system to me.

Never saw anything like a 40% drop rate per dungeon, feels more like 5% to me.

It’s too low.

the raid tier is pretty much loot from the raid though…soooo…

You absolutely are not guaranteed an upgrade from the vault. At all.

Burnt out happens when you do excessive repetitive content . The carrot is irrelevant because if it was worth it you wouldn’t complain of burnout. That what separates the try hards and actual players who make it

I’ve had no problem with loot!!

I’ve gotten lucky but yea gearing up this xpac is total garbage and one piece of gear a week doesn’t make up for it.

Blizz has taken the time played model to a new level . By getting zero loot you play more trying to acquire it . Also you can purchase a legendary from the Ah which is really legendary in its own right .

Except the loot is also considerably lower item level for the difficulty of the content. From the actual dungeon drops.

Math is math. Luck is luck.

Say what you want about the abundance of loot in BfA, but I rather enjoyed it. It gave us the opportunity to play with gear and different builds. Coming back to the game late in the expansion, I was advised to build haste and get plenty of Twilight Devastation. Ultimately, high active mitigation and essentially being a glass cannon didn’t fit my play style or my conception of what a tank is supposed to be. I transitioned to stacking versatility and was much happier. Can you imagine trying to make significant changes to a build in this expansion? As the kids say…oof.

But did it work? I mean I slowed down because I unsubbed.

But if it was made with the intention to keep people from unsubbing longer then normal then it failed for many people (although obviously not everyone.)
