Okay, first I know Warbank does most of the same things, but looking to have him in my guild specifically.
For my own characters I can set a guild recruitment up and they can request invite, but Horde characters can’t see Alliance guilds does anyone know another way?
Or will I have to find someone to ask to invite real fast and then give permission to invite my alt.
I’ve always used a second account (trial account) to invite alts, which works for cross-faction / cross-realm guilds as well as normal same-faction / same-realm guilds.
However, my second account (same Bnet) was previously paid (time expired yesterday) and it has Dragonflight expansion on it. I’m not sure if you can do this on a brand new Starter account. Feel free to chime in if anyone knows the answer - I’m actually testing this as I type …
From the article here:
On the Starter Edition you will not have access to:
Most recent expansion content (quests, zones, allied characters, etc)
Characters above level 20
Pet Battles
Other chat channels and whispers to non-friends
All guild-related functions
Value added services (character transfers, faction changes, etc)
Party formation
Trade, mail, or the Auction House
Real ID
World of Warcraft voice chat. You can use Battle.net voice chat instead
The Emote function in text
To OP, try creating a second account on your Bnet if you don’t already have one.
Ah, didn’t think of the limitations on a true never paid starter account - all my extra accounts are previously paid licence / paid time accounts, so that may be why they work.
That’s what I figured, I only got my second account up and running in Remix, I went ahead and got that special $24.99 deal of 2 months plus DF expansion. I’d had that account for 16 years (don’t remember why or how), but now I can perhaps use it to my advantage. I have no plans of ever adding time to it again unless another special event pops up like Remix where a second account comes in handy.
