Getting LUA error on Character Selection Screen

It’s happened thrice :slight_smile: I thought it was a fluke after the update on Tuesday. As soon as the game finishes loading and the character selection screen appears, the LUA error frame pops up.

have you launched the game with a clean UI? Rename the Cache, WTF and Interface folders.

Many players in a few other threads and I am experiencing this as well. I think it is some bug on Blizzard’s side.

Yeah problem with that is others like me done it and still doing so its more likely a blizzard issue.

I am getting the same thing, it started yesterday when I was in an instance group doing a mythic dungeon, everyone in the group disconnected and got stuck on the dungeon loading screen (about 98%) after several attempts at getting back in, I noticed this blizzard LUA error, which seems to be related to the blizzard store ui. Hitting reload UI at the character selection screen fixes it, but it’s annoying.

I’ve been playing since 2009. Doing that has never fixed any problem I’ve had with the game.

Been playing since 2005, many times it’s fixed certain issues. Anyway a blue posted that they know about it and working on a fix as it’s a Blizzard Store issue.
