Getting Kicked Out of a Guild For The Dumbest Reason

I did /lick to random people in SW… the guild got complaints (from people not in the guild)… they said if you /lick one more time we will kick you… and they did.

What is wrong with the /lick emote???

Also on another note I had the 2nd highest dps in the raid group too…

EDIT: No I am not salty, I am just posting this to give others a good laugh at how ridiculous it is to kick someone because of the /lick emote.

Guilds are not democracies, the guild leader has 100% control over who is, and is not, welcome in the guild.
There is likely MUCH more to this story but the basic answer is that your guild leader (or someone else with the power to remove / add people to the guild) did not want you in the guild anymore, why is immaterial.

Any guild would be happy to have a 120 clear raids for them, you should have no problem finding a new home.

No it was just that, I did /lick to about 25 people in Stormwind and they kicked me after warning it. Said it gave them a bad name.

Do you want me to post on my Classic character I assume?

It’s pretty simple…would you do this to people in real life? This is in fact, a role playing game. Do you actually need it explained to you that that’s nasty & creepy af?..
Honestly, if you’re too socially awkward to understand how you made the Guild look bad, I’m not sure anyone here is gonna be able to make it sink in…

Not real life…

What if I came up with a story and said I’m a worgen in retail and like to lick people because of primal instincts and because of Chromie and classic I’m back as a human but still have the habit of giving puppy love in /lick?

Given the volume of troll posts in this forum, it does make more people take you seriously… Up to you.

Yeah, already figured you’d twist it around like that. You’re clearly determined to rationalize & justify your actions instead of take any amount of responsibilty for your actions. I’d honestly GKick someone that obtuse too…at a certain point, you’re doing nothing more than trying to be difficult & people with social skills get that pretty quickly. (I’m just being honest with ya here. Bets they were sick of wasting energy explaining it to ya…)

Real Talk: That type of personality grates on people’s nerves extremely quickly. That really shouldn’t have to be said, tho.

That’s an interesting reason to boot you.

In isolation, it sounds very odd.

But something tells me there is far more to this /licking thing.

Looks like Stormwind got infected by the #metoo movement…

DPS are a dime a dozen. You really think this means something when your behavior drew the attention of your guild leaders because you annoyed people in the community to the point they contacted your leaders?
Reputation means something on closed servers. Guild reputation is just as important (if not more) than individual reputations.
Welcome to classic. There’s no hiding behind cross server and lfr here.

Nothing. Until you take it too far. Hint. Hint. You got a warning. So exactly how far did you take it? Were you spamming /lick for hours or something? Do you have it macroed? Lol

Doesnt make up for being an annoyance. Grow up.

It does seem like a odd reason to kick someone. Even if that’s all there is to the story why did you keep licking people. You were asked to stop by your GM or an officer you kept doing it.

From a certain point of view it doesn’t really matter what you were doing. The guild felt it gave them a bad name. They gave you a warning asking you to stop. You didn’t listen and got kicked.

No /lick 25ish people in under 20 mins.

Casting Wild Growth may help.

No, it wont. You think you are cute and funny…you arent.

Lol. Sounds like your server doesn’t like licking.
