Getting kicked from dungeons for not knowing another language

I was just recently in a group with other people who couldn’t type out in english. They ended up kicking me from the group for some reason and locking me out of the heroic I was trying to do. This is completely screwed up and and was wondering what could be done with it? Or is just the way it is? Getting my lockout wasted.

I have never known anyone to be kicked from a heroic dungeon for differing languages.
Thats actually kind of funny.

Nearly all of the dungeons I do, aside from higher M+ keys, no one talks

had two groups in the TW lfr today where they were all talking in French, total S-show. Blizz needs to fix.

You’re the player that made another post about mixing NA and EU complaining about different languages in party chat. Did you not learn about French Canadians in school? You know, Canada north of the US.

There are also French speaking communities south of the US too.

Then add in the Spanish and Portuguese that are even further south of that, and the Inuktuk language at the highest of the north. It’s as if the world speaks many languages no matter where you go. India has 128 languages in their own country alone.

The only languages I learned in school was spanish in the 6th grade, And then I decided to learn german in high school. I’m 42 years old so I don’t know what kind of stuff they teach now. It shouldn’t be a requirement to play wow though. Just sayin. And no I wasn’t the person that said anything about mixing NA and EU. Sorry wrong guy.

Raid chat on US realms must be in English, so all players can communicate, end of discussion. Kids in Montreal speak English by the way. Kids in SA can go on SA realms.

sounds like they decided your inability to communicate with the rest of the group was going to be a hindrance, and dealt with it :man_shrugging:

No communication is required to complete queued content.

Also I failed to mention it wasn’t spanish or french or whatever. It was in chinese.

Right and English is the second language in Quebec. If and when you may have traveled to Montreal, Quebec do you see all signs in English? No. Why should players have to speak English because you say so.

Never seen this happen. And I don’t just mean the getting kicked out part, I mean people talking in a heroic dungeon.

Yeah normally the runs are chill.

I agree. French is gross. Remove french language.

Who won the war?

On a serious note, this is an MMORPG with a lot of different people. Sometimes things will happen that don’t suit you. I sat in a M+ group in SL for almost 25 minutes waiting for it to form, then right as we filled a healer and DPS who were higher IO than myself and one of the DPS apped, we both were promptly kicked. It was annoying, but what would have making a post about it changed? Just take the 30 minute debuff and get back to whatever it is you’re wanting to do when you’re able.
