Thank you of any help that could be offer.

Same problem here ACCESS VIOLATION, and following their recommendations to turn off the Turbo and Overclocking made it worse, and it happens a lot more now. Only happens with WoW. Oh, and it’s a brand-new Laptop only couple months old now.

Do you have a laptop with 13th/14th gen Intel? There’s othere post with details about issues surrounding those.

Same for op with the 13600.

Try to run with the usb drive removed and the steam. Use Battle.net to run wow.
Also post above… 13xxx.

Also… Not sure about this.
ProcessID : 32460
the default maximum number PIDs is 32,768 specified through the /proc/sys/kernel/pid_max interface

Very close to the limit.

Yea I have the 13th generation & and I dont have the turbo or anything.

A brand new pc since november.

Also getting the same problem, and it’s a recent thing, last week and a half, maybe? Pairs up with constant DCing too, so I thought it was internet related. I am not running Intel, I have an AMD Ryzen 5 5500.

Is this on Retail? Beta? If it’s on Beta is when you try to mount the Yak? This is a known issue, but should be resolved as of yesterday.

Speed step for you CPU is enabled by default. If you did not actually turn it off in the bios. And it will boost your CPU to beyond what it can run stable at

Have you done anything with the AMD cpu’s having this issue?

Retail, no matter where I am it still do it.

I am experiencing the same issue and it has gotten to be such a problem.

Have zero issues with any of my Ryzen CPU’s. Do not have a issue with my I-9 either because I always kill speed step and find the highest stable OC the chip can take

I’ve been having the same issue with random crashes. I believe it is an addon issue. i disabled all my addons and the game seems to run fine. I then proceeded to reenable my addons one by one and then play the game for about an hour before enabling another addon. It seems to crash when either Altoholic or Zygor Guides is enabled. Both are big memory hogs so i think its a memory leak in one or both of those addons or a conflict with another addon when either of those is enabled.

Well you can mark one down for a Ryzen 7950x 3D CPU having this issue but only at a very specific quest giver.

Same problem here, seems like there is a problem about "
Audiodg.exe"

I can tell you right now I get access violations but only when talking to [Professor Dabiri] in Outland (https://www.wowhead.com/npc=20907/professor-dabiri) when trying to turn in (https://www.wowhead.com/quest=10439/dimensius-the-all-devouring# 10439) without add ons.

ive been getting this on directx11 and direct x12 didnt get this on direct x11 legacy. dont understand why they got rid of it. now im just crashing none stop without any addons

I would try disabling the HDMI sound if you’re not using it

That’s your audio driver crashing I would try reinstalling it using ddu and has a function to remove all your drivers

Did that. same result. I was able to abandon the quest via add ons and not the default UI. Its just the one NCP
