as a 56, 2 notches to 57 warrior… i’m reminded of my mindset right before starting classic. I was sure that i’d level a bit… maybe check out some stuff but still maintain playing retail. That is not what happened hah. I haven’t logged into retail for more than 45 seconds since classic launched. I wasn’t expecting to get hooked, but man, I really am. Anyone else experience this?

The new retail update looks pretty cool, but I won’t try it because I’d have to start from scratch since I stopped playing BfA after a month. I’d love to just jump right in, but that’s not happening.
Me. All the months before Classic launched, I expected to try it briefly if I tried it at all. Instead I’ve been playing it every day.

I feel like it boils down to the sense of accomplishment you get when you achieve something in classic…
it takes more effort and time, so therefor when you get it… it feels that much better. Like you actually accomplished something…
In retail… I just don’t get that same feeling
also you are not a carbon copy of every other person who plays your class like you are in retail…
I’m pretty hooked as well. I have a group of friends playing and we meet 2 nights a week for 2 hours to level and I genuinely wish it was 3-4. Their schedules don’t permit though, so it’s fine.
If it were just me ? I’m sure I’d play but nowhere near my current times.

I had zero desire to play Classic. I had already stopped playing retail so it wasn’t due to that. I just kept remembering all of the time consuming things we dealt with in Vanilla. The thought of all of the negatives ran through my mind, but none of the positive and fun parts of it.
I started watching some streams of Classic and then finally decided to fire it up a few weeks after launch. Now here I am, fully hooked, just like in Vanilla. I am having a blast with the game now and don’t see that changing anytime soon!

Few of my friends kept asking me to play and I said I’ll never touch it. Currently lv 43 and have no signs of stopping.
