Hi, what is the best way to get new gear? I have been getting new gear by doing main story quests but my item level is kinda low. Should I be doing side quests as well? What other ways can I get gear without using the auction house or instances?

Trades canât be done cross-realm for some reason.

You will probably get the same amount of gear from doing the same number of quests.
To me, dungeons are nerve racking because other players count on you and you have to know all of the bosses attacks and how to defend against them.

you can dungeon just fine while leveling. Nobody counts on you

I think players in leveling dungeons are more forgiving than that. But in BfA at your level, there are only 2 dungeons you can do. Watch a video on each and youâre set to go.

Again, the best gear comes from dungeons. It is a higher ilvl than quest gear.

i cant answer that. i havent leveled from zero since the revamp.
but typically itâs best to pick some side quests that go along with the main questline because itâs convenient to get xp faster. typically most good rewards are along the main questline.
I started in Exileâs reach the jumped into BFA. I have been equipping every piece of equipment from main quests. I donât know if itâs enough though.
youâre doing good. gearingâs not critical pre endgame so⌠so far so good. if you can kill mobs 1 v1, itâs enough.
I thought everyone counts on you to do your part since most dungeons are 5-player.
they are, but the demand out of each player to âpassâ an encounter is very low.

Gear scales to your level. Just keep doing quests. There should be enough quests to get you to 50 in just BFA I think. At which point youâll do shadowlands from 50-60. Zeroth Morris is just quests, daily quests, and rare spawns/treasures and can take you up to 252 Ilvl.
You have to use AH to get a legendary unless you level multiple characters and learn the profession skills to do it alone.
