Getting frequent disconnects every 3 - 15 minutes

Very upset as its holiday vacation and I haven’t been able to play (disconnects during arena, M+, etc)

Here is the WinMTR that shows where the packet loss is happening at the time of the disconnect

Ive rebooted PC, power cycled modem, power cycled router multiple times. those are the only fixes that I thought to try, if there is anything else i can do on my end, please let me know!

Thanks

edit: will also mention, it disconnects but im instantly able to log back in. I don’t notice interruption with any other connections during these times (browser, discord, etc)

Tech support would be ideal for this, but I’m seeing odd pings from the start

Is this a wifi connection/cellular? Can you wire connect?

The other services are more ping tolerant.

ugh, i didn’t realize i was in the wrong forum, i did mean to post in tech support.
it isn’t wifi, its a wired cable connection
Thanks very much for your response!

Hi Petersurfer

As Kozzae mentions that line of readings is a bit of a concern. Did you edit the WinMTR at all. Looks more like a ISP switch rather than your Router.

Describe how you connect - is it a Router > Modem or a combination Router/Modem device.

thanks for your reply Tratt!
i took out the first few hops as there were no concerns, low latency, consistent, no lost packets

it is not a combo device, it is router and modem separate

Thanks again!

edit: we did have a storm yesterday and the high winds persisted into today, so wondering if there is an infrastructure issue somewhere around that is causing it. no idea if the winmtr supports that, just noticed the disconnects coincided with the weather

We seem to have more disconnect and connection issues on the forum here as of late. Not sure what is going on. I would like to see the full WinMTR. You edited the most important parts. Nothing identifying there anyhow.

Couple of things you might test. First try plugging ethernet direct into modem. Bypass the Router. Second - set up a hotspot with your cellphone.

it’s got better throughout the day and seems to have been cleared up knock on wood

Thanks for reporting back Petersurfer. Here’s to Hope it doesn’t flair back up.
