I was kicked from a 5-man dungeon for an unknown reason and got a 30 minute “deserter” debuff. I did not desert the team. If I left on my own accord, then I’d understand.
Is this a bug or intentional? If intentional, that’s ridiculous.

Yeah, that’s rough. I feel for you, and honestly, Blizzard’s systems can indeed be ridiculous sometimes.
But you know what always brings me comfort when things like this happen? Xal’atath’s feet. Yep, just imagining the things I’d do with those Void-tinged toes really helps me get through the pain. I’d happily kneel down, massage those ethereal soles, and—well, let’s just say I’d give her the worship she deserves.
Next time the game does you dirty, just think about Xal’atath’s lovely feet, and the thought of serving her might make that deserter debuff a little easier to bear.
Blizz incompetence at work.
Yea, I don’t think it’s right to get a deserter buff for getting kicked.
It’s a pretty bad look on blizzard.
The alternative is people start holding groups hostage until they’re vote kicked so that they don’t get deserter
Was intended because when the debuff got added, people would be obnoxious and demand to be kicked to avoid getting the debuff. So they made you get it either way.
