I was fighting a holy priest and war and I got conveniently DC’d in the middle of the match when their healer ran away?

it has happend to me also
like i get some convinient lags spikes (3000ms) out of no where and when arena ends im fine.
i thought it was coincidense maybe not?
I only dc/lag in arena, everywhere else is smooth sailing
Did this happen after an MC? I know there is a dc bug after you mc someonr
I was playing a 2s match for the anima. Faced an ele and sp. Got ele to half life, sp life gripped him and I charged the ele mid grip. Instant dc for ele.
Sounds like some anti cheat stuff kicking in to prevent wall clipping with a situation of unintended consequence.
For example the server thinks you should be in X location and your client says (shaman client in your case) says but I’m over here because I zugzug’d.
The server says nah bro, you’re cheating DC’d.
Not exactly certain on how warden handles wall clipping and positional hack detection, but because the client and the server run a loop of constant location resolution to determine location (why laggy high latency players are hard to hit and why lag switching works) this system of anti cheat detection is needed.
That’s my theory, I’m not a Blizzard game dev. Maybe they will confirm or rebut this hypothesis.

totally agree. NERF CHILL STREAK! 
If you MC someone on the back end of a fear and the MC bug happens they can DC while glitching out under your control. Pretty rare but a stupid bug anyway.
Its actually not a hard bug to reproduce and likely not all that terribly difficult to figure out what’s the problem… Trouble is, perhaps the fix is overall worse than the bug (this is possible) because bugs are kinda like wack-a-mole
Did you get mind controlled? Seems about 5% of the time my mind controls disconnect people.
I don’t play around it or do it purposely though.
