Getting covenants on alts without Threads of fate

Im doing some last minute alt leveling and now that Threads is gone do we have to go thru the entire sequence to get the covenants now?

If you enter Shadowlands on a level 60 character, you should be able to get get a quest that skips you ahead to Covernant choice.

A level 60 character entering Oribos through the portal for the first time (without having been through Shadowlands before this) will be offered the quest Re-Introductions directly by Fatescribe Roh-Tahl and told to speak with Tal’Inara. She will then offer the follow-up quest Choosing Your Purpose, so the 60 can pick up their Covenant right away.

Or don’t pick a covenant because it’s a waste at this point.

For player power, sure, but if you want to work on collecting/achievements they still have value.

Since this is currently in the came and happening now, I am answering here. I have been able to go there and pick up a version of ‘Threads of Fate’ to go and pick a covenant this last week on alts who were 60 and 61. People said it was removed but it clearly got reinstated if it was. It immediately goes into the ‘Re-Introductions’ quest.
