Baseball is having Spring Training. Teams are trying to figure out who makes the 26 man roster and who doesn’t. In College hoops we are closing in on seeding for the Big Dance. St Patty’s day is coming, time to brush up on recipes for corn beef and cabbage.

Then of course there is work. Yuck !!!

How about them Braves.

Ouch !!! They traded prospect Vaughn Grissom to the Red Sox for ace Chris Sale last year. Sale has a reputation for getting injured but he had a GREAT regular season for the Braves winning the Cy Young.

Then came playoffs. First round, the Braves were at home for a best of three against the Padres. They lost the first game but no problem, Ace Cy Young winner Chris Sale was on the mound. - BUT - He was injured and couldn’t play.

The Padres scored 5 runs early, the Braves tried to come back but couldn’t do it. Two and done for the season.

Vaughn missed most of last season with an injury but he’s back competing for the 2nd base job for the Red Sox. And all the sports writers claim the Sox got the bad end of that deal.

Yeah last season was rough injury wise. Im more saddened Fried left and went to the Yankees but I cant blame him too much
