I’m a returning player to WOW and still quit new to BFA expansion. Just capped in BFA and need advise on how to get epic gear and gain access to fly in Legion and BFA
For flying in both BFA and Legion you will need Pathfinding 1 & 2. It isn’t hard to get, but it is time consuming. Mainly the reputation needed.
If you look at those achievements in game it will show you what you need.

To expand a bit on Quickshot’s post, the Pathfinder achievements can be found in the Exploration section of the achievemetns pane.
The general rule for Pathfinder is to complete all the main quest storylines, get the exploration achievements for the zones, and get to revered with the expansion’s factions.

As for gear, you can pick up Benthic as you’re running Pathfinder pt2, while also looking at world quests and their emissaries.
While the Warfronts and faction assaults do give out gear, these are quickly overtaken by the above options, and even heroic dungeons at 415.
If you’re guild is running low M+ or M0, try to catch some carries.
Your HoA neckpiece will be extremely easy to level, and would advise looking at essences you’re willing to run content for.

way north of pandor is great gear for dps if you got gold full sets are 117 range. however the storm wind quest chain rewards very decent gear and is fun and fast leveling.
