Give us the true version of AV that is synonymous with vanilla world of warcraft. This zerg fest is ridiculous. I got to honored yesterday playing on my phone while dog sitting for a family member. Its a joke of a bg atm where you just follow the group and collect your rep, no need to try there’s hardly even pvp at all per a round.
I downloaded the Steam software to play on my phone but I got a little nervous about getting banned for using it, so I deleted it to remove the temptation.
Enjoy it while it lasts. Once people discover that those repeatable quests for AV tokens actually give really good XP for 50+ and that the fishing there is a decent source of gold and leveling fishing, it’ll be impossible to get a decent game going.
Im not enjoying it at all is the point of this post. I doubt you’ll get much fishing done when the game is over in 10m. Theres no fun to be had, just mindlessly running to the other end of the map and killing drek.
I went from 180 to 225 in a couple of hours and netted 30g worth of fish. Sure, it’s not efficient and sometimes people kill you, but when it’s also giving me a quest turn-in per game plus honor and rep, it’s probably actually the most efficient place for me to be as a <60 player.
Sucks I’m not actually participating in the slightest. Armies of people like me will join. Just give it time.
you realize you can break off and do whatever right? you can queue with some friends and hit some objectives
but theres no point to doing that in this version of av
the point is fun. if zerging isn’t fun - try something else? go capture a mine - get some folks to kill galv, go turtle the horde some.
you’re acting like you have 0 free will.
again theres no point to gathering resources or capturing objectives. I just dnt find doing pointless objectives fun. I wish they had a point like they do in 1.5 AV.
There’s no point in playing WoW. I mean really we’re here to waste time, right?
I mean i have fun playing wow, i dnt see the point of ur argument lol. just not playing av in its current state
The point is that even if you don’t see the point in AV, I just gave a very good reason why literally every level 50+ person should be in AV. If there’s no point for you, fine. That doesn’t mean there’s no point.
The game wasn’t designed to be fun. It was designed to have moments of fun among everything else as opposed to how things are in today’s WoW, where the entire game is focused around funneling everyone into LFR.
If you don’t like it, don’t do it, right? I don’t understand what you’re asking. Changes? You want a frankenpatch AV? That’s something the majority is against for the reason that everybody who wants a change on a whim is going to then get their wish and *poof* – we’ll have BFA.
The game wasnt designed to be fun? lol ok. and yea the idea of no changes went out the window long ago, theres so many changes between classic and vanilla already lol u make no sense.
They did.
You may not like this particular iteration, but the current AV was available in Vanilla, and that’s what you got.
It’s perfection.
Except that in many groups, you’ll get kicked for doing anything besides zerging. That’s even if you aren’t trying to deviate from their *rph plan, but happened to get killed on the way there. Kicked for “stopping” along the way (even though getting swarmed by horde, stunned, and dead, kinda leaves you no choice but to ‘stop’ lol). Good luck.
Oh, and have fun.
Can you find a single person logged-into WoW who is not having fun at this exact moment?
Point made.
You can say that the game is fun, or not, but the reality is that nothing is going to be fun for literally the entire time. Even on roller-coasters, part of the experience is waiting in line.
BFA was designed to be fun. It backfired.
the point of this post has gone completely over ur head bro.
Nice. When you can no longer attack the message, attack the messenger. You’ll be a great debater one day.
… bro.
How are you getting into AV with friends? We’ve tried doing count downs in groups, out of groups, and we never ever get into the same instance of AV.
I went to 3 AVs yesterday - 2 were over in 7 mins and returned 3 honor kills each whereas the 3rd returned 57 honor kills because a group defended - only 10 minutes longer and well worth it - i hate zergs.
