Seems to be some packet loss starting on the ISP right after your signal leaves the home network. It isn't a large amount but any amount can cause disconnects.
Saying that let's check some other things that might cause these connection problems.
Check ingame on the Menu > System > Network. If "Enable IPv6 when Available" is active - *disable it.
On the same pane *disable "Optimize network for Speed" if it is active.
Restart game so changes take effect.
Check those and let me know.

That's my world right now. Getting a new modem sent to me, but I can't see so many having router/modem failures all at once. Has to be partly Blizzards issue. Something has changed that has caused a small issue to become a large one.

i have had to deal with this issues for day day s , it just not good even after installing back again
i know the tech is doing the best she can but need to be looked in to more

I don't know why are you changing your modem, but if its because of this particular problem, you are probably wasting your time and money.
If the problem is only happening in WoW, as it is in my case, theres no point blaming our connection or our modems and routers.
Checking the forums here you can see more people started having the same problem at the same time. People from all kind of different locations. Is that a coincidence? Is that on the player's end? Nope

I posted in a previous thread about having these disconnect issues and followed one of the fixes on the general tech support site, the one about disabling addons by changing the addons, interface, and WTF folders to have "Old" at the end of them. So far this seems to have fixed my issue, I couldn't play for about 2 mins before with the addons and after I changed the folders I played for a solid 2 hours before I stopped, so this seems to have worked for me.
But my question now is, am I not able to use addons now?

Now download your addons again and install one or two at a time - then test. It's possible the corruption is in the those folders you named old. You may be able to install all the addons again. Just test each.

So should I make new folders with the same old names? or do I just need to delete everything in my addons folder?

I just noticed in the WoW folder it made all new folders for those already, so I answered my own question!

You can delete the folders you renamed to .old - as you discovered the Launcher installed shiny new ones.
I guess I spoke too soon, I was able to play for hours the past 2 days but today after maintenance I started dc'ing again. I did the same things I did yesterday and that's not helping anymore so now I have no clue.

I am also having the same problem, can't play at all and when I try to log a ticket with Bliz that also fails.
