Nah. 486 is like, what, 440 going from s2 to s3 and 2s are an 11 or 12. 440 wasn’t “out gearing” a 12 last season so 486 won’t out gear anything this season either.
Except, like, heroics.

ive done 5s at 484, not too sure what happened unless it was nelth. 2nd boss is overtuned to hell

Adjust your mindset.
If they hadn’t changed the key level ranges and you had jumped into a new +12 would you think it should be unreasonable to die? That’s what a +2 is now.

The ilvls are much different with the new mythic model. Your just right for a +2 
wipes will happen lol
You should be completely self sufficient at that Ilvl in all the dungeons at +2 for the most part on BDK. There are a few spots where you’ll need external heals in earnest if you don’t go into the pull with CDs and resources, but it’s 1-2 per dungeon.
You can’t do s1 pulls at the start of this new season. Break some of them up, it’ll help a bunch. You also need to have your dps use interrupts and stops more frequently this season. Lots of strong abilities in the dungeon pool you can interact with.
Just checking, but you do know they changed how key levels work now yeah?
They scrapped all the lower levels of keys.
A current season +2 is what used to be a +12

Its rlly funny bc we tried a 5 nokhud and got clapped by the third boss, then did a 4 vault and it felt like a season 3 m0.
Was just made aware of these changes. I took a break for a month or so and didn’t read up, my mistake.

My favorite thing this week has been players underestimating the squished key system.

I think most people will figure it out the first time some +2 mechanic smacks them for 75% because they were too lazy to get out of it.
More of a temporary remedy than a cure though, innit?
Been doing 7,8’s since 490. People need to stun and interrupt. The first week is always tougher than usual. Having issues with pugs @ +8 NO and Uld. People don’t want to cc adds on the last boss of NO or use defensives in general. Alter time has been a savior for me this week.
Hah yeah, this dungeon change really made dungeons no joke. Though, they drop 493 so not really outgeared, but at least geared enough. But so much 1 shots. It’s very unforgiving
