Oh man, I can’t wait to unlock my linear ability tree for my cloak… I don’t know why you guys keep insisting on giving us this borrowed power junk if you’re too terrified to actually make it interesting to wear in the first place.
Sigh… Just wake me up when we’re back in Azeroth doing actual, interesting things.

Hate having an item I am forced to wear for the duration of a patch.
The Siren’s Isle circlet ring, the delves belt, and now this.
Artifact weapons were the one time I thought it was okay, because at least we had a ton of skins and cosmetics to grind out. It wasn’t entirely about the power of the item.
It’s just lame when you’re forced to stick with a singular item simply because it has stats or some strong effect that can’t be ignored.
It also makes that slot basically a useless one, if the item won’t be replaced.

So recraft all toons cloaks to maybe boots. I really appreciate it. But I dont know if I feel like finishing this expansion to be totally honest. Not really that interesting.
Is there really much of a difference between having a slot locked in for the duration of a patch vs incrementally upgrading it over the course of a patch when there’s still every other gear slot to work on?
I think incremental upgrades are better.
Also the excitement of getting an item drop, or crafted, is something to be celebrated.
We’re getting this cloak early on, and then it seems we won’t ever have to think about cloaks again for the rest of the entire expansion.
Too bad the boots that enhance the cloak effects by 50% only come from the raid…

I genuinely think artifact weapons were only considered good because it was the first time we’ve encountered such a system in WoW.
I actually didn’t mind Azeroth armor personally.
I think after artifact weapons everyone knew the pitfalls of borrowed power and just doesn’t want it anymore
I always main melee, and hoping for wep drops used to be the worst, (They drop pretty well in TWW tho) but that’s why I liked the artifact weapons. Once you have it, all ya gotta do is play the game any they constantly got stronger.
You can always LFR the Soul Hunters?
