Just got my last key for my 8, will have 3 mythic vaults and a couple of raid mythic vaults hoping I can finally get my mythic head piece and my toon will be maxed out. Easy affixes this week even got some io.

Nope! I haven’t played much of Retail since Remix released. 
I’ve done one, and it’s actually my first one since this season came out.
But I just completed the legendary quest on my warrior so I am going to try to do more (+2s) on him to see how he does.
I haven’t been playing much so I’m a bit behind gearwise. 499 ilvl but I’m still tearing it up.
Only 1 key done so far. At this point in time its starting to get hard to find good pug games. Getting a few to many trolls, bad players and/or the overcocky so im just doing old glory runs. Been fun getting a few random people to smash them out
Hell, in a 8 aa this week a tank dies on the “first” pull. Tank pulls half the packs before a healer and dps was with him, gets reked (even tho healer was nuke healing them) and then says “who pulled so mush”
“You did tank, we wernt even close to you”
Tank trys again with 2 mob packs and still dies. They then just leave.
We just loled at them and then did a nelth with a new tank and easily did it
Which brings the issue of having some kind of option to increase your chance for a piece.
When the game gets to its final weeks of a season, we get stuck farming 8 +8s over and over and over again hoping for max ilvl boots and we never get them and we rage on and keep going over and over and over and over and the game is toying with you never giving you the boots you want so you go crazy and farm even more and…
This happened to a friend, btw, not to me.
To a certain extent crafted gear is the bad luck protection. And with bullion giving access to trinkets and weapons, it should be pretty easy to get everything to at least 525.
Can we equip more than one crafted piece btw? I’ve never looked it up.
You can only have two unique equipped embellishments. But at this point you’re only restricted by the number of sparks you have and how many aspects crests you want to farm ( 60 per 525 item )
Other than good trinkets and a second ring you can make a 525 piece and pick your secondaries for every slot. And you’re probably leaving 1-5% on the table by not using your two embellishments.
Finding crafters might take a bit if you don’t have a couple in your pocket already. For whatever unexplainable reason you can’t set a minimum quality for public orders. Why they thought a system where the seller defines the quality of the object after it’s been bought is…

I have too many aspect crests from farming 8s every week, so I’m good with that. I had no idea I could craft more.
I might just craft my way to 525 and be done with it.
Check Wowhead for your spec/gears best embellishments. There’s also the flavor packet embellishment which doesn’t count towards your 2 unique embellishments. Having your food last for two hours and persist through death is probably another % in dungeons where you’re taking some deaths.
Are you assuming I die 35 times in BH Fortified? YOU die 35 times in BH fortified. Shut up.
You don’t need to die 35 times for it to matter, Just once on the first mega pull. Which can be pretty easy in pugs when you’re not sure what the tank is doing.

Bears are usually pretty good at having aggro during an extended round up.
Some tanks though… just like to whisper in the mobs ear as they run by.
I logged on retail this week to help my guild out with getting a member the heroic Vault raid completed, but I had completely forgotten my rotation versus the remix burst spam. Swapped back over to remix, afterwards.
There’s two crafted rings, just only one can be embellished if that’s something you need. Most aren’t running crafted rings this tier though becahse of the fire damage / shield ones from bullion.
I’m running with 3 crafted items for 2 embellish and a flavour pocket, then everything else is 528 or 535.
Im still doing 8s each week for at least 1 vault slot but its hard to care. Been max ilvl with mostly bis for over a month. Havent trier to push IO score since week 2. Just been lazy and chillin this patch
I’m away for the Canada day long weekend. I got 4x 1/8’s.
Got my 8 trying to push everything to 18 on fortified. Uldaman still at 17 but I think most 19s are easier than that place on 18 so I guess it’ll do.
Goal is to hunt down an AA and / or BH 19 before the week is over.
Hit 2900 io, maybe by end of season I’ll get 3k
