Guess this means no free transfers off dying servers, or a mega server for MOP. The least you guys can do is increase the gold limit for transferring, 50k is way too little for how much players have now.

Cmon man… merge the servers. And yes please 50k is wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy too small of a limit for gold. It needs a substantial increase.

Maybe address the transfer “bug” to Grobb. We’ve gotten interest from players, but unable to transfer their current toons to our humble server.

Just making 1 big PVP and 1 big PVE server would solve all the issues imo, Whitemane went from being a huge server down to less than 3k players. Now all the people who prepped a bunch of toons for MOP either need to spend $100+ to get their main and alts over or just play on a dead server, the new sale is just going make smaller servers suffer even more.

They did this on Anniversary and it worked great. Was cautiously optimistic we’d see this for MoP.

Not everyone wants to be on a megaserver. However, everyone should be able to play the server they want. Blizz is literally leaving money on the table by not allowing people to Transfer to Grob.

I like Atiesh’s small town feel.
When I want to hit the big city, I have DS in anniv. 15 dudes in an area with 20 mobs. No one wants to group. Make it work, somehow.
My anniv rogue never stealths to engage mobs with an opener. she throws axes. Best way to compete with the hunters and mages.
I’d like mega model more with 1 change. Retails shared tagging even if only faction based. I’d thank the 4 frost mages AOE farming mats then. Some nights in anniv…I don’t thank the mage farmers. they are hated for it actually.
Server transfers should be free by this point. Put a cooldown on how soon a character can be transferred again to prevent abuse, heck, you can have a paid reset on the cooldown if you want, but basic transferring should be free.

I think even if they are not going to offer free transfers, they should at least let people know so they can make decisions for their guilds and leveling new toons
I also agree that the 50k gold limit is way too low. 50k doesn’t even comfortably cover the costs of professions/gems/enchants of a new character these days.
Right, even a “we currently have no plans to change anything” is more information than we have now and would give guilds something to work off of.

I’d give this option to cata Arugal alliance at least. they can’t even support a healthy rdf by many reports.
Option b is free faction change. Some would take that. they want oce. just not on the side with 500 people on it.
It not even pvp imbalance. they have issues getting 5 dudes into rdf runs as well as other servers.
Even on small buy cozy grobb last night my blood elf was out of 1 run into another dungeon last night.
Classic has a cool down, or did at least. almost a month that I recall. I moved chars a bit around wrath so forget the details.
hurry up classic is becoming pointless and before it dies we need to collect as much money as possible haha jk right…
