Get this Wildstar out of my Warcraft

Zerith Mortis… how many ex carbine employees does the current team have?

Honestly if we’re going full wildstar at least give us some of their races like the Aurin and Mordesh while you’re at it.

And wildstar player housing?

Tried that with garrisons. It flopped. They should put dev time towards something better

Edit: Stop replying to me about how its not real and how you’d like it. I really don’t care. They said they were not interested in exploring player housing any further.

Big Wildstar vibes for sure.

We’re already here so I wouldn’t doubt it.

Don’t get me wrong I actually love the asthetics but it’s so strange for Warcraft.

I mean if I remember right, Wildstar was built, in no small part, from ex WoW devs who wanted a world built by hardcores for the hardcore.

But ZM is literally a casual’s paradise and even arguably a no life tryhard who wants to spend every moment they can logging and progging

Most casuals haven’t even touch ZM… it’s pointless more system content that no one cares about but raiders

Except for pets, mounts, transmogs, ect ect that have no bearing on the actual raid itself lol

I gave Wildstar a really fair shake. I thought it was built well, it had good bones, but ultimately it was not balanced right. I never got to max level, they made us spend completely unreasonable amounts of time in zones. You would clear all the quests at all the hubs in a zone and still need 75% of your XP for a level, so you would be sitting around competing for mob kills for 20 hour stretches so you could move to the next zone. It’s like, what if we made a nice looking modern MMO with polished combat, but also made it play like P99? Draw in people with the shiny marketing, then laugh when they hit the XP slog at level 24 and come and rage on the forums.

Yes pets mounts and transmogs that all look like they were ripped from wildstar in my fantasy game

I have zero interest in acquiring any of that for my Warlock

Garrisons were nothing like Wildstar player housing lol.

This is very untrue. Casuals can earn normal raid mode gear with super powerful world effects at their own pace. Literally, the pace you acquire and get more powerful cypher gear is 100% up to you and how much you are willing to invest and work at it.

Let alone the massive amounts of collectibles that, again, you can get largely around your own time and pace. All of the quests and dailies are quick and you get a little minion that actually does reasonable damage at your beck and call…oh and this minion can point out treasures and other noteworthy things if you aren’t so good at spotting them yourself.

other than 2 leggos, why would a raider care about this zone at all? The ability to turn a piece of gear into tier. Doesnt sound like something specifically for raiders.

That’s a lot of words that I’m not reading.

You are trying to sell me a system that I have no interest engaging in. I’m just going to level alts for the next 9 months.

I’m exhausted from being dragged into a new system and currency every patch

Except plenty of casuals do participate in ZM. Very few raiders I know have touched it at all.

Look at the ilevel of the people you’re calling casuals.

Zereth Mortis literally gives you 252 gear.

I’m (not) sorry you have a pathetic attention span?

I actually don’t give a rat’s donkey what you or anyone else does or doesn’t do in ZM. Avoid it like the plague or spend every waking moment in it…I literally could not care less because it doesn’t affect me in the slightest.

You are just factually wrong though that casuals are avoiding ZM for the simple fact ZM is literally all most true casuals actually have to do.

I want Wildstar housing…

Garrisons were a crap attempt at player housing and failed. Blizzard seems to do that, they make a half-hearted attempt at something, then when it fails, they say players didn’t like it and use that as a reason to not try it again.
