Facts. It both amuses me and pains me at the same time. 
The chief reason for me is that they made changes (removing RDF) using the justification that they were “preserving the feel of the classic community” and now they turn around and pull this stunt. It’s disgusting.

Honestly reading through this thread, I’m surprised that these same people didn’t see the writing on the wall with the level boost, considering this community is kinda adamant on not wanting retail like microtransactions, Activision Blizzard probably won’t care about the people against it and will probably put the WoW token in Classic era in a matter of time.
Short answer: Money.
Long answer: Welcome to modern day gaming where a game can cost $70 and will have microtransactions in that game, no matter how hard you make it known that you dislike microtransactions (I don’t like them myself either), companies like EA, Activision Blizzard, Valve etc don’t care about your feelings more about the profits. Though there are reasons like this is supposed to stop third party RMT but at the same time its also for money.

100%. It just confirms that this is all nothing more than a money-grab. Am I against Tokens in Wrath Classic? Actually, no. Do I like all of the other “#somechanges” they’ve added to Wrath Classic? DEFINITELY not.
I can’t help but feel like all of these differences between OG Wrath and Wrath Classic are nothing more than catering to the streamers and those who promote Wrath Classic on a social media and/or promotional basis and that the actual playerbase means absolutely nothing to Blizz at all. I’m not surprised by any means, I’m just shocked that - given the MASSIVE success that pservers have had over the years - Blizz didn’t take a page from their book(s) to: #1 preserve the content, and #2 add RDF from launch.
It’s sad and it’s only going to drive more players away.
EDIT: I wholeheartedly believe that they’ll add RDF later on (and have been intentionally delaying it) for another money-grab. Subs will continue to fall off, and they’ll use RDF as another selling point.

Your reasoning for not adding RDF and rebalancing classes is gone now. Classic is dead, might as well go full changes.

You seem to invested into this game. It might be time for you to step away if you are this upset that you come here telling Blizzard that you hope they and their families end up on the “streets”.

I’ve played this game since I was 12. It’s my go-to entertainment, and has been for the last 16 years. Most of my friend group has also been playing WoW this long.
Would you not be angry watching something you love being ran into the ground by people who don’t care? Not a single one of these developers deserve their job. They are a plague and should be working on P2W mobile games, not world of warcraft.

If this was 350 years ago there would be a lynch mob running around. It would’ve never gotten this bad to begin with. We’re civilized enough to just trash talk them and leave it at that.

When you get scammed it kinda is personnal. Some tech companies are only lucky laws cant reach them yet. Switching the pay model of a product should come with a full refund.
