It’s been done only a handful of times, and not on armor. It’s fancy and new in that sense.
As for elf crud, the set is Elf related. Wardens have been (still are???) Night Elves. I’m sure you know of them. We’ve even had a dungeon in Legion that kinda delves into what they do.
There is no obsession. Again, I’m sorry you read it that way. I’m simply stating facts.
It is based off of a group of Night Elves that are pretty much Jailers for big scary badies. Unless something happened recently, Wardens are exclusively elves. Hence my mention of it being Elf.
My mention of there being more is that we will likely see more Warden stuff (+ more elf stuff) soon. They got a new tree and all of that jazz. It’s not the last time we will see them and their stuff.
You are free to feel as if I am obsessing. That is your choice and you can do what you want with your time. I’m just stating my stuff on the public forums just like everyone else :> You are also welcome to obsess over trying to point out flaws in mine (and others) posts if you so desire. That choice is also yours if you choose it.
But as stated, we will prob see more less fancy Warden (+ more ELF stuff) soon. This is just supposed to be special.
And a whole three or four posts in here have mentioned that, but only in the sense of the color changing issue. 290 posts and only a few mentions of it being a Warden set. You just seem to be hyper focused on people being mad and Nelfs wanting more or being selfish or something. I don’t know. The whole thing is just weird. 
None of this is the point of the posts in this thread. People are simply giving ideas and options for a poorly designed transmog. Because no one should be forced into color changes.
I really hope they clarify all of this soon.

I’m sorry but I cant be bothered to read 290 posts when my only intention was to post my giggle.
The blue who made this thread also did not make it with the intent of people posting suggestions or ideas :> So you could say thats off topic too.
Its a public post about something that is happening, and all are welcome to post about it, including people like me who have other things to say.
Color changing is fun, interesting, and I hope to see more. As for those who arent a fan, no need to stress, froth or flail as I guarantee you there will be non color changing stuff that is very similar in the near future, especially since it appears we’re going to get a lot more Night Elf focus stuff for a bit. Even moreso if the rumor of Blizzard redoing all of the oldworld is going to actually happen. (Which I havent kept up with as I really just dont care too much any more these days)
For those that are upset, that sucks. Try not to be though. Blizzard will likely never clarify anything addressed here though. They don’t do that any more even though I do agree it would be nice if they did.
Anywho. Smile, be happy, enjoy video game, eat too much Christmas treats, be merry.

Eh. I use it sometimes. Doesn’t dragonride, so that’s the real reason it doesn’t see more play. If anything people won’t want to use it with the Warden armor because both versions of Ash’adar match the daytime set. Only the cat ghost changes, the armor stays the same.

I’m putting in a request for 4 sets - the white version, the green version, the color shift version and a 4th set that isn’t so tied to Night Elves so that those of us who don’t really care for elves get something useful out a year long achievement.

It’s not, we literally just found out about it.
The core feature of the Warden set… is that it’s the WARDEN set, an Iconic armor set going back to W3, and has been advertised for over a year.

the 4th one isnt happening. this was planned over a year ago to basically be the warden set. i dare say it was planned probably around 18months ago.
That doesn’t make it good or liked. Also it was revealed LONG after the fact, a year after the armor had been revealed and we had been waiting for.
Bait and Switch/pulling the rug is never appreciated.
