Make explosive shot the aoe attack for marks and get rid of trick shots. Trick shots has always been horrible without a locknload proc up. Aimed shot just takes too much time to cast in a dungeon on trash or when adds spawn. Most of the time the target dies before we can get the aimed shot off and even if mobs are still up, its not like we can witch targets midcast. Spamming multi-shot sucks and volly has a long CD. I’d rather have barrage than trickshots honestly.
I’m not confident what the change ought to be here, but trickshot is depressing Mage Rune of Power - esque gameplay.
What if they removed Multishot and revised it using similar animations as to Barrage with modified range (similar to Multishot so that we don’t pull half the dungeon) and damage profile so that MM Hunter could also have a single button AoE ability like they are doing with BM and Survival?
Or, they could lean into Volley a bit more and have this be the default AoE ability with adjusted damage profile. No more ricochet abilities. Putting a Multishot between every Rapid Fire and Aimed Shot is a bit jarring to the rotation.
They should just make it so volley is our precise shot spender and volley gives a charge of trickshots. Would be sick to constantly rain arrows down in between aim shot/raid fire. Would also give us some uncapped damage.
