Get rid of the "must be in a raid group" to enter raids

I just wanna buy transmogs. I have many characters that can pickup the chips to get tmog pieces in Undermine. Right now I have to list a group and invite a random with no intention to do the raid, just to be able to walk in, get my tmogs and leave. And repeat this over and over since I have 65 toons.

Just let me enter the raid by myself…

You can do this by yourself.

  1. Start a custom group.
  2. Make it private.
  3. Quickly log out and switch to another character.
  4. Sign up for your own group. Should be at the top highlighted blue.
  5. Switch back to the group owner and accept your application.
  6. Switch back to the alt and accept the invite.
  7. Switch back to the group owner and switch it to a raid group, walk into any raid you please.

Not ideal, but it works.

lmao.

That sounds…awful

Better than nothing.

It’s the price you pay when you stick to tradition and not embrace QoL.

lmao.

Just start a new license on your bnet account, purchase war within for $90, then pay blizzard $100 for a yearly sub and buy a few level 70 boosts for $60 each, then use those characters to invite characters from your primary wow license to enter the raid.

That would be nice to be able to walk in and buy stuff at least. They put all those vendors inside there lol.

You also have to pickup the Counterfeit Coins from the quest inside. Getting 2 per toon - I have enough toons to get all the mogs if I can just get in there lol

I could log in right quick if you want to invite me and make a raid. Just let me know and I’ll give you my btag. Can delete it afterwards lol.

Thanks for the offer, but I gotta go for a bit. I tried LFR queue to see how long a healer queue would take, said 19 mins. Guess nobody does LFR anymore lol

Yeah np! LFR times are a bit longer later in the week.

The method I gave you takes literally less than 2 minutes.

I know that since your group delists if you log off for that long.

lmao.

Queue for the ‘two heads’ wing on Tuesday if you want to get in fast. People who do LFR for renown usually do that wing and the Gally wing before their usual raid times to get the quick renown level. The gally wing will probably be faster but it would require that your character had gotten the card to teleport back with it.

You can go into Story Mode and use the pass thingy to teleport back to the hotel if you have it.

Here’s a quick way to get into a raid group, just search in group finder raids for “Main Event”, the name of the Gobfather world boss quest. Join the group, walk into the raid to take care of your business, leave group.

That sounds dishonest to me.

When you join a group like that, the other members are depending on your help to defeat the world boss.

As noted: the very easiest way is to just use the Story Mode option from the Incontinental desk clerk to zone in at the final boss, use your Gallagio loyalty card to teleport to the lobby.

If you need a loyalty card, join literally any raid group and zone in. I used the Gobfather WQ last time I needed to. If you feel guilty about joining a group for another purpose, hey, kill the Gobfather first.

Now sadly, these solutions only work for Undermine. We should just be allowed to enter raids on our own if we want. Especially if Blizz is going to start adding vendors and extra functionality inside raids.

Ok then, walk into the raid to take care of your business, then walk out and go help defeat the world boss. But in reality, nobody in a world boss raid group cares if you do this, the groups are together for five minutes at most.

Only if everyone does their part to assist with the difficult boss

I laughed. Well done.

Should have just left off after the first one. It’s too on the nose now.

Agreed. It’s dumb to have vendors inside if you can’t enter it solo. It’s not like you’re going to kill anything yourself.
