Get rid of pve high ILevel corrupted players from my Battlegrounds

We gripe when templates are instituted. We gripe when templates are removed. I mean, what is a poor Blizzard to do?

Have Honor and Conquest vendors, PvP set bonuses, PvP stats, and all Mythic PvE gear scales down below PvP gear. It isn’t hard, they just need to do that. It is literally that simple.

Oh man I have a beef again (mostly cause I’m a cow)… You think this system caters to casuals? PvP wise it most definitely does not. Tbc-wod you could log on, cap yolo 2s in an hour and have access to the best gear available. Once you had max conquest you could make a push for the pretty easy to reach PvP weapons based on rating in the earlier expansions.

Legit in cata I was full on casual working full time to pay for the school I was going to full time and continuing to play competitive soccer. I literally logged on, capped my 2s in an hour and then was lucky to play a couple hours later in the week of bgs. That version of me is casual. That version never would have survived this game. Hell man I think you’re mixing up the definitions here, cause you’re nowhere near casual. Not a newb either (2 masking that early?!? Holy hell).

There is nothing casual about it taking hours to cap (no matter what content you do). Then you’re capping for sub optimal gear (less corruptions, no pve procs and a lower ilvl)? Then people are telling you to go do visions because they’re easy (you know once you’ve practiced them a ton and spent weeks developing the tech ). So now you have to spend at minimum another hour getting CVS and doing said runs? All while you’re still missing out on m+ and pve procs.

Seriously man, there is nothing casual friendly about 8.3. If covid 19 hadn’t hit I’m pretty sure this season woulda been a ghost town. I wouldn’t have been playing as much with soccer, gym and movies. Then I likely wouldn’t have been playing. You and I are pushing keys and play a fair amount, we aren’t casual by any sense of the word.

Sorry about the rant… Just tilted at this expansion and the direction the game keeps going. For PvP the only thing that should matter is skill.

Sol you want templates again.

ROFL what!! Are you CNN news going that far out of context? No I hate templates. I never said I like templates, I said I enjoyed the WoD PvP gearing the most. I enjoyed PvP set bonuses and BiS trinkets that came from PvP. Gear always has to matter or there is no reason to play, it’s just PvP gear should matter in PvP.

There should be some form of PvP stats as well to better optimize your performance. I do like racial buffs, prof buffs, sockets, gems, enchants, reforging etc to Min/Max as you should be able too in any PvP RPG game.

When you get a PvP upgrade you should be excited and feel more powerful. Key word there PvP upgrade.

So you say you don’t want templates, yet continue to say you do. Really need to understand what you’re saying, and understand what that means in the game. Everything you’ve said tells me you want templates. If you DON’T want templates, then you need to move on from “high level gear in PVP SUXORZ!!!”.

PvP gear was only bis for pvp. In WoD, players that were bad at pvp couldn’t be carried by gear since everyone had access to bis gear via pvp.

Why are people so against pvp outcomes being determined by who the better and more knowledgeable player is? You don’t have to answer that question. We all know why.

Once you get the table worked up and your cloak to a good level, three masks is trivial. Only two of the masks really add significant difficulty to the run.

Welcome to my ignore list for trolling. Going to ignore what you said since you clearly ignored what I said. Templates are the worst and templates were removed because it goes against the RPG nature of the game which is focused around gearing and customization of your character. It’s simple to understand that, so don’t put words in my mouth Mr. Fake News.

You take things out of context as bad as Jugaa /ignored

Lol funny video sadly it makes sense only 12 years ago

Won’t find one for today’s “organic” PvP

Is it a choice to be behind in a massively time-gated system where at best you can do it 4 times a week and if you fail you lose that attempt? I can’t imagine most people want to do every daily every day either, so it’s more likely 3 a week for most people. That’s a month to even get to a rank 11 cape.

Which Legion did the best at that. Even in wod there was a gear gap as not everyone was on the same level.

I haven’t done runs in about 2 weeks and never do dailies every day and I’m at rank 11. You do know you can run visions with others right?

I’m not against Legion. Was probably one of the best expansions.

I know that I could if I wanted to.

That doesn’t speak to the amount of time it took you to get to 11 in the first place so I’m not sure what the point is.

It still takes a month if you’re starting now to get to rank 11 unless you do a lot of dailies in which case you can do it in 3 weeks.

It doesn’t take doing dailies every day. I even failed a few visions and didn’t max out full runs for a lot of them.

The point of my post you were responding to is that it takes a minimum of 3 weeks if you get 4 vessels a week or a month if you only get 3. If you failed some it took you even longer to get to rank 11.

The entire point is the amount of time it takes to catch up to that point.

If someone doesn’t like dailies then yes it does take long. Since they dread the thought of grinding out garbage they do not enjoy doing. Which is all BfA has to offer unfortunately. Content plagued with RNG to boost the MAU metric. Congrats Blizz, BfA is commonly accepted as the worst WoW expansion to date.

How do you deal with not having enough coalescing stuff to buy vessels? I’ve done all the dailies and such, but I need to wait a week for assaults once I do them at start of week right?

I wasted a bunch of vessels attempting stuff and only just did a full clear and got my first mask.
