Ranking isn’t really important at this point but I think it should be brought up for the future. Dishonorable kills ruin any sense of true world pvp, raiding a town or city is never feasible because of DHKS. “But Bananah what if people start camping quest givers.” No reward is given by rank right now and there isn’t a massive epidemic of NPCS not surrounded by guards being camped. And with the current faction balance measures, there should not be a worry about towns or cities being steamrolled by one faction forever. I believe they should either be reworked to be way less punishing in some ways or removed.
Ways that the punishments can be reduced: DHKs don’t effect all party members, only those that damage civilians, DHK punishments are at first negligible but the punishment will stack with each civilian you kill but will decay over time if you don’t kill civilians for awhile.

I agree that dhks should only apply to the specific player that kills civillians instead of the entire party/raid. Other than that I don’t think anything else should be changed. It’s there so that people don’t grief quest givers.
This entire city must be purged. More rewards for DHK’s to encourage city farming. Then the faction has to get a group together to fight back, creating natural groups and pvp community (same as the wsg premades in phase 1 more people grouping which is better for the game overall). I will aim for 1 million DHK on my main.
Dishonorable Kills serve pretty much no purpose anymore.
I like the fact that several questing NPCs of the opposing faction aren’t considered civilians.
So the whole idea of having these civilians/quest NPCs to reduce camping is kinda backwards as an idea, unless any and all of these NPCs would have civilian status.
And that would destroy world PvP in hub areas.
On the other hand, it’d be cool if SoD leaned more heavily into this, have titles and stuff the most dishonorable players can earn.
It’s yet another ‘dead’ and forgotten system Blizzard made but never kept up.
add GDHKs so people stop complaining
