I’ve been playing WoW off and on since Beta Vanilla. I have been a part of the zergy Tarren Mill vs South Shore original, was there for the first weekend of WSG when it opened and been glad a few times when RL allowed me to be that sweaty and play too much. I only state that to say this, Blitz is, by far, the worst PvP experience I have ever had in WoW PvP in the 20+ years I have been doing it.
People have a hard enough time in Shuffle Arena managing their own CD’s now you add objectives? People can’t even press buttons in the correct places. Blizzard also does not incentivize playing the objectives. SWTOR does, so does GW2. I refuse to believe Blizzard can’t, you just won’t. Rating means literally nothing. I have 2 priests, one 3300 MMR and one 1700 MMR. Same gear, same player. It is literally a roll of the dice who you get on your team. Rating rewards should not be given for this “competitive” game mode as it isn’t a measure of anything other than how lucky you got with the RNG lobby rolls.

An unrated blitz would be cool IMO. They could even make it part of the brawl rotation - people would play it for sure.

Would be a nice mode to have for the standard PvP lineup as a unrated version along with Random and Epic BG’s. However it will probably kill Random BG’s so that’s probably why we don’t have it.

Just get rid of SoloQ rated modes entirely please. The quality of life as a healer has been insanely low compared to pre-shuffle era pvp.
There is no way for them to ever make healing randoms in pvp enjoyable without making all the dps screech that healers are immortal raidboss gods, and they already try to claim that.

I think an unrated BG blitz with normalized gear for casual pvp would be awesome
A bracket for 80s and I’d love to see it as playable for leveling too
Just boost our toons to 80 for the game while we are in leveling bracket, hand out XP on an equitable basis to leveling pve

100% agree. I swear its like Blizzard doesn’t understand people take the path of least resistance even if the gameplay is 1000x worse than 3s. Whaazz was right when he said in DF S1 (paraphrasing), shuffle will bring the overall gameplay experience down by a lot due to people being stuck in ELO hell and no team to keep the morale going. Shuffle causes shuffle brain and it’s making PvP utterly unenjoyable. Rather sit in LFG than sit in 30+ min Q for a sub-par PvP experience when I get in.
Whoa, 3300 MMR player. We’ve definitely seen you on Twitch. Who’s your main? Your MMR is probably even higher than the #1 CR priest.
Lol, i said MMR not CR. Relax turbo. PvP isn’t worth the time investment with the current shuffle systems to be that sweaty. Not doing something isn’t the same as not able to do it. For those of us that value our time, things need to be worth the time spent. Currently, none of this is worth the time investment.
You guys care about the rank in blitz? just get 1800 for the elite set and then treat it as a random. It’s what i do.
