Get rid of bag of tricks

Talk to any vulpera in game, we’d trade bag of tricks for something useful like an increasing haste buff (alike the mechagnome stacking primary stat buff) anyday. And yes, I can say we all hate it cus im in a vulpera only guild of over 100 members. Not one wants this stupid racial. Its uninspired, it does nearly nothing, and it doesnt complement the race at all. Plus its ridiculous that all other small stature races in the game get some sort of attack speed or haste buff (goblins, gnomes) and foxes which are supposed to be faster than both gets a stupid thrown goo bag.

I like it so far as a damage attack.
But I’m still levelling so the scaling is obviously broken.
Dunno what it’s like at max level

Depends on how it is at max. During the leveling process it’s been useful for me numerous times so far. There’s plenty of others racials they could replace with something useful instead. No need to take away literally the single one that does anything at all.

I’m pretty sure Vulpera racials being more casual-fun than min-max effective was by design…

I’m not going to play a mechagnome because of it.
Not my favorite racial in the game but I’ve been using it.

I’ve remembered to use it a couple times and I honestly don’t even know what it did. I heard a vial break but I didn’t see a visual and didn’t seem to have any impact whatsoever

I’ll have to disagree with you, I’ve really enjoyed both using and looting new tricks from various sources. Bag of Tricks is a fun, interesting racial. I of course am not a player who thinks races should be min/maxed, I prefer RP racials for the fun and interest they provide over straight percentile bonuses.

I honestly wish we had more fun abilities like this, rather than standard stat or damage buffs.

While I have used the racial to heal myself in combat a few times and its damage isn’t absolutely horrible… I wish we got some cooler options. Like, the option for it to do damage/heal, the option for it to be a cc/stun… Stuff like that.

In its current state it needs to be off the GCD to be worth much, though.

This is obviously an imposter, if you arent tricksy you arent a vulpera!

I dont dislike the bag of tricks racial but I do wish it had options that werent simply damage or healing. Would be nice to have little totems like we get during the voldun quests, or snippets of other class abilities or racials (like a shadowmeld trick would be amazing).

I’m sorry but unless you’re in a top 100 raiding progression guild, racials really honestly do not matter, and I’d rather have utility over some passive haste racial that never even gets noticed by anyone not inspecting the damage meters with a magnifying glass.

Nope. Personally enjoy it. Works great as a Oh Poop button that heals more than my normal heal, and can crit for a decent amount as well.

It stays.

Like i said the other day, bag of tricks is a nifty tool in my arsenal as a tank; it’s a heal for me or a team mate and it does better damage then anything else in my arsenal at level 58.

Make of that what you will.

I can toss an insta heal on a party member for 75k, that seems useful to me.

Any combat racial on the GCD automatically becomes a joke versus passive combat racials.

My vulpera is a rogue, so it’s pretty nice to have a damage button to press while waiting for energy. Tho I agree it could be better.

Mag’har have the worst racials imo. But as far as Vulpera bag of tricks goes it isn’t half bad.

At low levels, highest Vulpera I have is almost 70, it does more damage then my attacks. I’m thinking it becomes fairly useless at max because it probably won’t scale well. But for leveling it is very good especially if you have to wait for energy, rage or mana and need a filler.

Now the visual definitely needs to be updated or something. You hear a vial break but no cloud animation or dripping poison or anything with a decent visual to give you an idea you used a skill other then the audible sound.

Yeah I agree. I like HOLO for mechagnomes for the rp flavor even if it is ultimately useless. I wish more racials were similar and didn’t impact gameplay so much (like Night Elves significant advantage in M+ for instance).

It feels like a combo of goblin rocket that can heal or hurt. Wouldn’t mind if it was off the global though.

It’s a net loss to use in aoe situations, but I have energy downtime enough on my rogue that I can justify putting it into the rotation single target or otherwise. Probably wouldn’t bother to use it on certain casters, though.

It hits pretty hard in the sunwell haha

That is because they are designed like that.
