Where’s your data I bet elvui doesn’t have over 5 million installations on their record.
You’re being stubborn just like the Devs…Players don’t want something that will be better later, players want all the things brought by addons now…today; Therefore, the necessities of today aren’t met by the current implementation and addons will be the option to go until that day arrive.
Even Devs recognize that addons are required because they won’t implement every single detail that for some players is important and for other isn’t.
Give us an Option to Go Back to what we know. This is so crap. You’re making me use more add-ons to make it look Old School. Bartender4 with a Preset to Classic helps, but the XP bar is in the wrong spot. Give US back or an Option to have our UI back.
Well that’s neat but you are kind of forgetting about all of the other addons. I don’t even use ElvUI lol.
Kind of a bummer I can’t get any of the nameplate addons to work with the new Blizz UI and am forced to use the dopy looking standard nameplate. That’s gotta be my only gripe I’m pretty happy with the rest and uninstalled elvui
Well guess what elvui seems to be the most talked about and yet no evidence of it being the most installed even if it’s the most installed I highly doubt it crossed several millions.
Most talked about because it’s the one with the most options and is basically all encompassing. You get it and don’t really need much of anything else. I use a few different addons instead.
When you learn a new spell but your bar has less than 12, it will “place” the spell on a spot in the bar you don’t see.
Someone please tell me what this square in the middle of my screen showing random CD’s is when targeting people. I’ve disabled addons, and can’t find it in the UI settings
I don’t think Blizzard will implement something like rarity that just show the bad RNG on this game, there’s a lot of addons that help the player to satisfy specific information/UI requirements. I’ve a friend that everytime he cast BL, the game triggers a Hello Kitty song for him haha there’s so much customization outside of the default UI.
I can’t really customize anything if the edit mode button is greyed out now can I?
Also, the base HUD UI is the standard for most modern MMO has in their HUD UI customization. World of Warcraft is just following the modern trends like SWTOR and some other mmo games in their design of the HUD UI.
Uninstall and play classic might be the only way
When in a group. Buffs and debuffs are not showing up in the group frames.
Please allow buffs/debuffs to be shown under or next to other players frames while in groups or raids.
There is a LOT wrong with it that needs to be fixed…how long has the UI been on ptr?
I don’t understand how can there be 15+ years of UI addons to steal ideas and content from, and somehow this ends up unusably bare bones
Reposting this here:
As someone that wears glasses nearly 24/7, I quickly noticed that the new UI makes some stuff extremely small and hard to see while not offering any way to remediate that.
Some examples:
While I’m extremely pleased by the new UI, the lack of such accessibility options is making the transition frustrating.
“adjustable, effective, attractive, and easily accessible for everyone.”
I think its fine in most ways, just please allow me to hide the Party frames (like you can the raid frames) and please let me hide my Player frame. I use VuhDo for healing/smartcasting and dont need my player frame twice, or my party frames twice.
Nope. I don’t have the time nor the patience to screw with this new UI crap. Either put an option to make it like it was, or I am just done.
