Not likely. Especially if they’re shared talent trees.
Someone liked this old post just now and it’s not aging well though there is still hope. We really need those reworks to come through in addition to the Hero Trees or it’s gonna be a disaster…

I understand that your focus is to bring these class variations into the gameplay and I see this as an interesting proposal. However, I think you are forgetting the key element that gave rise to these fantasies.
Guardian of Elune is something specific to the Night Elves, the same goes for Mountain Thane for the dwarves, and Sun Worshipers is the culture of the Tauren. I think it’s a contradiction, even going so far as to be an offense to the lore of the original World of Warcraft where you allow a Kultiren who is a Drust on all occasions to be a “Chosen of Elune” even though Kultirenes don’t worship Elune. The same goes for the possibility of a black iron dwarf being a “Sun Walker” even though it is not part of the “plot” of dwarven culture.
In my opinion, these class costumes like “Shadow Ranger”,“Guardian of Elune”, “Sun Walker”, “Mountain Thane”, had to be just a customization for the class without impacting the gameplay. World of Warcraft has already lost too many roleplay elements and now you are bringing a proposal that already hides the essence of your story. In view of the game’s HISTORICAL content… I am completely disappointed. You killed the game’s role play eons ago… and the few “ashes” that are left you are throwing to the wind and wanting them to be “forgotten”. I’ve never seen a company go against the very pillars of the plot that built the game developed.

It feels like over the last many expansions that the devs are phasing out Assassination Rogue due to lack of meaningful effort on the spec’s balance to Outlaw and Sub in PVE both AOE and single target effectiveness.
I think it’s hogwash that you didn’t make priest and warriors a priority. If you people know anything about wow, you know you wouldn’t have gotten past years 1-10 without the help and back of the priests and warriors, yet you continue to ignore priests, especially holy spec.
Mountain Thane was the first showcased.
And Oracle was right after.
