Make it to where when you hit 3k io rating, you get a Shard to the past Item, which allows you to buy 1 Single piece of Gold Challenge mode gear or a WoD Gold Mode Weapon item
For PVP, ( idk what a high pvp rating is) You can choose to get a Single set of elite pvp gear of your choosing for any season.
This is for the people who were never able to get these amazing items/sets, back in the day.
Surely if you can get old tier 3 naxx gear, bring back mage tower, obtain the Kor Kron shaman set ( from SoO from killing the shamans on mythic diffitculty) from mop remix, bringing back Bfa corruption runs. Surely they can make a way to obtain the mop sets

I think recolors of the mage tower weaponry or the cm sets (there are 2-3 available) would be fine.
But doing modern content to buy something that has been in the game for a decade is way more boring than literal new content.
I’m still waiting for the red recolor of the warrior challenge mode set that we saw on one of the npcs back in WoD.

3K is fairly comparable to CM golds, so yeah, sure.
If anything, it’s actually harder. Leveling and gearing out alts was the biggest roadblock to CMs, it was real slow back then.
so… we got panda land remix but skipped wod remix?
i mean… sure, Wod might have a few issues in that kind of game play…
Any how. What Brain is trying to translate into words is, That a Remix would be a good way to allow people a chance to get the old items.
So for Legion, perhaps the Mage tower will have those weapon appearances on the table?
a few more Druids could get sparkle kitty? (i have it. it sparkles.)
maybe more recolors could be available?
aside from a Remix event though, i dont think giving other methods for the exact appearance of items should be a thing done lightly.
Recolors? sure. give any number more of those for what ever difficulty. even give em out free for login if you want.
and aside from druid appearances (there is too few options already), limited time items should continue to have limited methods of obtaining them.
The black market AH for example is a perfect way to give out things that should otherwise be unobtainable imo.
i also think the BMAH would be great to see them in, my only thing would be when you do see it up, its gonna go for gold cap every time. i know that ill never have gold cap unless i start forking out some money lol

I don’t feel much of anything should be removed from the game, though requiring similar challenges and / or available only for limited time events that regularly recur are fine.
And nothing should ever be removed and then sold on the BMAH.
That’s just another way for Blizzard to further monetize the game and at that point, might as well sell stuff like CM and mage tower appearances on the store.

Cant agree with that. However making a limited time event those things come back and are as difficult as it was back then is more than ok with me. I hope they do stuff like that.
its a gold sink to offset inflation.
I literally bought CM Gold for like 250k in WoD.
Which was insanely cheap cause back then gold was way easier to earn than even today.
People who act like anything in this game is prestigious when you can buy carries are weird.
That said, I disagree with the OP. No, PvE rewards should not be brought back as PvP rewards. If anything, they should bring back old Elite Sets/Weapons for PvP Tokens.

Mop classic beta is out and should be fully released in a month or so
I really want they let get ALL the transmog sets to anyone who got the achiev back then for a single char. So we can have all CM sets in all our alts.
August 31st I believe. Was more pointing out there is no way of getting them right now for any current live version. I don’t usually count beta or PTR as live.
I guess but it’s what most people want, not content.
Well you can count the MoP Beta as Live when MOP actually goes live in a few weeks, which is my point.
