Why can’t the Germination talent be that Rejuvenation simply replicates when cast on a target so that we don’t have to use two globals? Like seriously, do the devs play resto druid at all? Our APM and constant management of our HoTs is annoying enough as it is even if you aren’t running with Germination. Or at least put Rejuvenation on a .5 sec GCD.

A lot of us LIKE the constant GCD gameplay (I don’t like healers where I can just sit there not mashing buttons). The problem is the GCDs we spend are ineffective. Our hots alone are not enough to keep folks up most of the time. They are just padding until we can regrowth most of the time and that’s what’s depressing about them. Germ itself is good but not so much for the rejuv but because of the mastery stack and the abundance stack.
Back in the day, a second rejuv was actually worth the global to cast.
IMO this is a huge problem with resto druid.
If someone is not “ready” for you to heal them (i.e prehotted out their behind) they are screwed and you are going to spend 3-5 globals saving them.
Meanwhile a resto shaman can Healing Surge bomb someone for 3million in a single global in the right conditions (undulation, master of the elements, + big mastery effect)
I like the idea for germination changed into a single global but it would need to be offset somehow. Maybe both are weaker (more emphasis on mastery effect, less on the throughput) or cost more mana
