I know all the playable races have their own accents but is there any where a German accent would make sense for role-play purposes?
Hans’gar and Franzok use German accent (Austrian really, for the references), so you could make up a tribe of mag’har that use it.
My Dad was German, I adore the accent; it reminds me of home and love and protection.
But geez was it scary when he shouted!

As a Blood Elf, I prefer to have a Bostonian accent, like… Boston Massachusetts, like Scout from TF2.
I think humans may have a Germanic accent as common when read through a Horde perspective seems like German. I mean, “Goibon uden lo” meaning “Guards help me!” sounds Germanic in pronunciation.

Well, you have an amazing way of speaking normally and the rest of the world just sounds wrong. (Actually that’s not totally true either, I am a huge fan of many accents from all over world.)

Forsaken are sort of english or victorian english, but I know what you mean and man that’s kind of bad taste.
The first time that I learned a little about German I laughed a lot because of the Dwarfs, they speak German in age of mythology.
I’m assuming it’s a joke based off of Dr. Richtofen who created zombies in Call of Duty for a certain dictatorship that I’m not allowed to mention on the forums because they won’t let me use the name.

I think it stems from all the post WW propaganda where the bad guys speak with a broken German accent.

I think of Dwarves as having a scottish brogue/accent.
Goblins as NY’ers, VE’s from Britain for some odd reason (the void must be from the UK originally) BE’s from the South and some from Boston as someone already said.

Orc: Gutteral, maybe where the German accent fits
Undead: Mid-west accent with slurred speech and soft consonants, long s’s and vowels sound like a wail

Pandaren: Chinese accent
Human: Mid-western accent
Dwarf: Scottish
NElf: Indian like in the old cowboy movies
Gnome: New York with a touch of helium
Draenei: Russian
Worgen: Mid-western except emphasis on R’s
