The Nostalrius legend has come home to zclassic Era!I will be leveling primarily through grinding dungeons, so there’s a decent chance you will see me tanking your dungeon if you are new to Era, as well.
I Pallytank with a special spec that I helped to theorycraft and test during Classic in 2019 that takes 0 points in Holy (so no Cons), but does stupid ST threat, scales better with gear and buffs than a Best, and when combined with GBoK spam, can even outthreat one. Think of it as Fury:Prot for Pallies, only tankier.
I came back to Classic to escape the sweaty meta groupthink on pservera (where EVERYONE knows that all Pallies are good for is being Healbots…). I’m sure you are all familiar with the shut-up-and-heal mentality many older WoW players have toward Pallies, but my experience on Classic vanilla suggests that many of you will see past it. I’ve been changing minds about vanilla Tankadins for the past 8 years,All I need to do the same here is an open mind and a fair chance.
Anyhow, if you ever played on Earthfury during p1-4 or Deviate Delight during p5-6, or are a veteran of Old Nost, you may even remember me or have even raided with me. I hope to do that same thing here that I’ve been doin for many years across many vanilla servers.
